Systems and methods for handling fluid for application to agricultural fields

A system for handling a fluid includes a container for separating the fluid into a liquid and a vapor such that at least a portion of the vapor is disposed above the liquid. The system also includes at least one valve for releasing the vapor from the container, at least one sensor to detect a level of the liquid in the container, and a controller in communicatively coupled to the at least one valve and the at least one sensor. The controller is configured to control the at least one valve to release the vapor such that the liquid level is maintained at or above a desired liquid level. The controller is configured to determine diagnostic data based at least in part on signals received from the least one valve and the at least one sensor.

Soil conditioner injection systems and methods of using the same

Soil conditioner injection systems that can provide a variety of benefits, including the fast and efficient amendment of soil with soil conditioner without requiring tillage and in a manner that significantly reduces or eliminates any inadvertent runoff of the soil conditioner, for example, from rain. In some examples the soil conditioner injection systems of the present disclosure include soil conditioner injectors that include a soil plug remover configured to remove a first volume of soil from a first location and a sleeved hammer configured to form a recess in soil and inject soil conditioner into the recess.

Method for improving soda saline-alkaline paddy fields by stirring and discharging slurry and application thereof

A method for improving paddy fields by stirring and discharging slurry, including steps of rotary tillage scarifying, irrigation and paddy field soaking, slurry stirring, slurry layering, slurry discharging, airing, and water storing. The method for improving paddy fields by stirring and discharging slurry can quickly and greatly reduce soil salinity, with a cost lower than 1,000 yuan/hm2, a yield of 5,065 kg/hm2 to 6,304 kg/hm2; it saves the step of water harrowing before conventional rice planting and transplanting, and offers simple operation and promising prospect of replication and popularization, providing important support for increasing grain in soda saline-alkaline areas in the western Songnen Plain.

Systems for delivering biological products are provided. The biological products may be delivered, for example, to a field. The systems may include a container (110, 210, 310) for holding the biological product. The systems may also include a fluid flow unit (120, 220, 320) configured to subject the biological product to flow from within the container along a fluid flow path (115, 215, 315). Methods of delivering biological products are also provided.

PISTON DEVICE FOR LOADING MATERIAL INTO A TUBE
20230210044 · 2023-07-06 ·

A piston device is disclosed as it may have a cylinder and a piston. In an example, the cylinder has a first end and a second end. The piston is configured to be pushed into the second end of the cylinder in an inserted configuration and withdrawn from the second end of the cylinder in an extended configuration. The piston is slidable between the inserted configuration and the extended configuration during operation. Material is received into the cylinder through an opening in the first end of the cylinder without a vacuum, and pressing the piston into the second end of the cylinder compresses the material within the cylinder, and then releases the material from the cylinder.

An apparatus for applying a liquid to a plant growing in soil includes a handheld assembly having a spray configuration for applying a liquid to a plant as a spray at a location above the surface of the soil in which the plant is growing, and a probe configuration for applying a liquid below the surface of the soil proximate to the roots of the plant. The assembly is selectively reconfigurable by a user between the first spray configuration and the second probe configuration.

System for variable-ratio blending of multiple agricultural products for delivery via a ported opener

A system to meter multiple agricultural products according to an independently prescribed rate for each in a variable-ratio blend of the agricultural products from a single opener in a plurality of such systems and openers across an applicator such as a drill. Bulk storage compartments associated with the applicator deliver multiple agricultural products to metering assemblies mounted in clusters or pods across the applicator. The agricultural products are fed from the metering assemblies, via a flow re-director, into a manifold, and then into a corresponding single opener having conduits to transport the agricultural product into the soil. Controllers independently regulate metering by the metering assemblies. The flow re-director and manifold provide blending of combinations of the agricultural products for each opener according to a field prescription.

Ground Working Apparatus Including Coulter and Shovel for Use with Liquid Fertilizer Injector
20220377966 · 2022-12-01 ·

A ground working apparatus is supported on the toolbar of an agricultural implement for injecting liquid fertilizer into the ground. A disc arm is pivotally coupled to a mounting bracket on the toolbar to extend downwardly and rearwardly to a coulter disc rotatably supported on the lower end of the disc arm to cut the ground. An upright pivot assembly pivotally couples the upper end of the disc arm relative to the mounting bracket to pivot about an upright axis while preventing upward movement of the disc. A shank is pivotal on the disc arm to support a shovel trailing the disc to form an undercut trough connected to the ground cut formed by the coulter disc. A pressure mechanism prevents upward pivotal movement of the shovel relative to the disc arm until an upward pressure applied to the shovel exceeds a prescribed holding force of the pressure mechanism.
