IMPROVEMENT APPLIED TO AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT
A woody vegetation suppressor equipment, being a forest implement, for the grinding of woody vegetation, bushes, grass, stumps and pruning remains; it is composed by a metallic structure all reinforced in steel, with a hitch on the three points of the tire tractor, drive cardan, bidirectional transmission box with lateral transmission made with belts and pulleys and at the bottom an axle with displaced knives; the equipment is coupled in the front part in a tire tractor, where it is driven by the tractor’s power take-off, the power take-off turns in high rotation through the main and secondary transmission, drives the cutting system making the axle underneath the equipment that is equipped with cutting blades reach a high torque, being able to shred all the vegetation that comes in contact. The benefit is to mechanize the process of clearing vegetation, using shredding, providing a faster and more environmentally friendly operation.
MULCHER
To improve the comminution of the plant material cut off by a mulching device, a mulching device is provided comprising a rotor which can be rotated in a direction of rotation by means of a shaft and has movable blades, and comprising, with respect to the movable blades, counter-cutting elements that are fixed to the device, that cutting edges of the counter-cutting elements directed opposite to the direction of rotation have a corrugated shape, wherein, in their direction of extension, in particular the counter-cutting elements have at least two convex portions with one concave portion arranged therebetween. The cutting unit can be formed in one piece without any connection.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MOUNTING A FLAIL MOWER
A method and apparatus for attaching a forward-mounted implement that may allow pivotal movement of the implement around a longitudinal axis to better maintain proper operational height when operating on uneven or sloped terrain. Further provided, the attachment mechanism of the present disclosure may allow for a secure and safe attachment to an associated tractor or other similar vehicle while simultaneously providing for a reduced production cost and less maintenance requirements.
Harvesting Machine having a Flail Cutter and a Moisture Removal Mechanism
A harvesting machine is disclosed along with a method of operation. The harvesting machine includes a frame having a flail cutter mounted on a first end of the frame. The flail cutter can cut the stems of growing plants. A housing surrounding a portion of the flail cutter for directing the cut plants rearward. An idler roller is positioned rearward of the flail cutter. First and second moisture removal mechanisms are positioned downstream of the cutting mechanism, and each includes a suction roll and a press roll. A moving belt forms a closed loop around the idler roller and the pair of suction and press rolls, and has a plurality of apertures formed therethrough. The moving belt forms first and second nips between each pair of suction and press rolls for squeezing moisture out of the cut stems as the stems are routed therebetween.
MULCHING APPARATUS AND RELATED COMPONENTS
A mulching apparatus including: a housing including a front opening and an inner wall; a rotor mounted in the front opening of the housing adjacent to the inner wall; and a drive train for driving the rotor, the drive train including: a drive shaft connected to the rotor; a motor comprising a motor shaft; and a removable wear gear connecting the motor shaft and the drive shaft, wherein the wear gear is formed from a material that is softer than a material of the drive shaft or motor shaft.

Mulching apparatus and related components
A mulching apparatus including: a housing including a front opening and an inner wall; a rotor mounted in the front opening of the housing adjacent to the inner wall; and a liner mounting system for mounting a replaceable wear liner between the rotor and the inner wall, the liner mounting system including: an upper mounting provided at an upper edge of the inner wall, the upper mounting configured to releasably connect with the wear liner; and a lower mounting provided at a lower edge of the inner wall, the lower mounting configured to support the wear liner against the upper mounting and secure the wear liner to the inner wall.
MOWER ASSEMBLY
A system and method according to one embodiment are provided in a vehicle to perform a two-stage cut of grass or other vegetation in a field or lawn. The first stage may be a coarse cut stage, and the second stage may be a finish cut stage. The first and second stages may be conducted by separate cutting configurations. For instance, the first cutting configuration or coarse cutting configuration may be a flail mower configuration, and the second cutting configuration or finish cutting configuration may be a rotary cutting configuration.
