ROBOTIC LAWN MOWER OF NON-TRADITIONAL CUTTER
The present invention relates to a robotic lawn mower. The lawn mower comprises a housing having an upper cover portion and a chassis as a carrying platform; a mowing assembly mounted on the front section of the chassis and having two sets of rotatable cutting tools, and a moving assembly having four moving wheels that are mounted on the sides of the chassis; and a control unit for controlling the operation of the mowing assembly and moving assembly; as well as a power source providing power to the mowing assembly for the rotation of the cutting tools and the moving assembly for driving the lawn mower in any or all directions without necessity of turning the front or head of the mower. The cutting tools are formed of semi rigid and semi flexible material, and in the form of short rod or twisted cables or wires.

AUTONOMOUS LAWN MOWER
An autonomous lawn mower includes: a housing, provided with a bottom shell, a movement module, a cutting mechanism with a cutting element, and a control module. The autonomous lawn mower further includes a protecting assembly provided with a protecting wall. In a horizontal direction, the protecting wall is disposed on an outer side of the cutting mechanism. The protecting assembly at least includes a movable protecting member. The protecting wall at least includes a movable protecting wall that is disposed at the movable protecting member and is located on the outer side of the cutting mechanism in the horizontal direction. When the cutting mechanism is at any cutting height and the movable protecting member is in a free state under no external force, a ground clearance of a lower end of the movable protecting wall is an initial distance. The initial distance remains less than M. 38 mm≤M≤40 mm. The movable protecting member is movable in a height direction relative to the bottom shell under the action of an external force, to change the ground clearance of the lower end of the movable protecting wall.
Method of conversion to automated lawn mower
An automated lawn mower has a frame that is attached to a conventional lawn mower to retrofit the conventional lawn mower for automated lawn cutting operations. In some embodiments, one or more wheels of the conventional lawn mower are removed, and the frame is coupled to the lawn mower at one or more connection points for the removed wheels. The frame is coupled to a motor, a controller, and a plurality of wheels. During operation, the motor drives the wheels under the control of the controller in order to move the automated lawn mower over a lawn for grass cutting operations.

The spacer is elastically deformable. The spacer is elastically deformed in a second state in such a manner that the maximum distance of the contact region is at most the same size as the cutting radius, and the spacer is arranged completely outside the cutting plane of the cutting tool.
