Baling device and method to form bales of crop material
A baling device to form bales of crop material, including a frame, an intake device, a bale forming device for forming a bale of the crop material, the bale forming device including at least one endless belt to delimit a baling chamber, and a number of guiding elements to guide the endless belt, the outlet of the intake device is located at a fixed position with respect to the frame, and at least three guiding elements are movably mounted with respect to the outlet of the intake device to position for subsequent bales different pairs of two guiding elements of the at least three movable guiding elements at the opposite sides of the outlet.
MOLDED PICKUP STRIPPER AND ATTACHMENT SYSTEM FOR A BALER
A pickup assembly for a baler includes crop strippers that loop around a reel, the crop strippers spaced such that spacing between adjacent strippers forms a slot that allows a tine to project outwardly from the reel. A pickup frame has upper and lower mounting stubs, wherein each of the upper mounting stubs has a notch located centrally in a forward end of the upper mounting stub. A rear end section of an upper leg of each stripper is engaged with a respective upper mounting stub and a rear end section of a lower leg is engaged with a respective lower mounting stub. A distal end of each upper leg has an outer plate separated from an inner plate so as to form a gap. The upper leg has an alignment tab such that when the leg is received on the stub, the tab engages with the notch in the stub. A gap-facing surface of one of the inner plate or the outer plate has a detent extending into the gap, and the upper mounting stub comprises a keyhole opening formed therein rearward of the notch.
FARMING SUPPORT SYSTEM, POSITION INFORMATION GENERATION METHOD, COMPUTER PROGRAM, AND PROCESSING DEVICE
A farming support system includes a position detector provided in one of a work vehicle and a rake implement attachable to the work vehicle, and a processor configured or programmed to obtain, based on information about the rake implement, a positional relationship between a reference point to be positioned by the position detector and a swath to be formed by the rake implement, in a local coordinate system that is defined for the work vehicle and the rake implement attached thereto. The processor is configured or programmed to generate swath position information indicating a position of the swath in a geographic coordinate system, based on information indicating a position of the reference point in the geographic coordinate system detected by the position detector during forming of the swath, and the positional relationship.
Pressing means guiding device and press
A press guiding device for a baler includes at least one continuous pressing device, at least two pressing segments, and at least one guiding device arranged at least partially between the pressing segments. The at least one guiding device is supported in a rotationally secure manner at or on a common axle with a roller.
Round baler with pre-cutter and crop distribution system
A baler includes a housing forming a baling chamber. The baling chamber has an inlet that defines an inlet width perpendicular to a central longitudinal axis of the baler. A pre-cutter is disposed forward of the inlet along the central longitudinal axis and includes a cutter width perpendicular to the central longitudinal axis. The cutter width is substantially less than the inlet width. A crop distributor is disposed between the pre-cutter and the inlet and conveys the crop material from the pre-cutter to the inlet. A pick-up head is disposed forward of the pre-cutter and lifts the crop material from the ground and conveys it to the pre-cutter.
CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT APPLIED TO GRAIN HARVESTING MACHINE
A constructive arrangement applied to a grain harvesting machine reducing the sizes of the bulk carrier and the collecting set, bringing them to measurements which are compatible with the body of the machine, thus enabling transportation next to the machine, with no need to disassemble any parts, having hinges and support arms of the bucket and the support structure of the receiving device provided with hinging devices to reduce their lateral dimensions, those hinging devices being activated by hydraulic cylinders.
AUTOMATED BALER PICKUP CONTROL BASED ON WINDROW DETECTION
A system for controlling a position of a pickup on a baler comprises a sensor, a processing element, and a pickup pivot mechanism. The sensor monitors a ground area, senses a presence or absence of a windrow, and outputs a sensor signal with a first level and/or data value indicating the presence of the windrow and a second level and/or data value indicating the absence of the windrow. The processing element receives the sensor signal, and outputs a pickup signal with a first level and/or data value when the sensor signal has the first level and/or data value and a second level and/or data value when the sensor signal has the second level and/or data value. The pickup pivot mechanism receives the pickup signal, lowers the pickup when the pickup signal has the first value, and raises the pickup when the pickup signal has the second value.
AUTOMATED TRACTOR SPEED ADJUSTMENT FOR AVOIDANCE OF PLUGGING A BALER
A system for adjusting a tractor speed based on a performance of a pickup of a baler comprises a flow rate sensor, a processing element, and a tractor speed controller. The flow rate sensor senses a flow rate of a crop into the pickup and outputs a flow rate signal with a level that varies according to the flow rate of the crop into the pickup. The processing element receives the flow rate signal, receives a speed signal regarding a speed of a tractor pulling the baler, compares the flow rate from the flow rate signal with the speed from the speed signal to generate a comparison result, and outputs an electronic speed signal with a level that varies according to the comparison result. The tractor speed controller is configured to receive the speed signal and adjust a speed of the tractor according to the level of the speed signal.
Tractor-trailer combinations
A movable tractor-trailer combination includes a self-powered tractor having a plurality of ground-engaging members and a steering mechanism for steering at least one the ground-engaging member; and a trailer that is towed behind the tractor and that is connected to the tractor by a drawbar that is pivotably connected at a tractor connection to the tractor. One or more sensors sense a line of a swath of crop material corresponding to a maximal quantity of crop material per unit length of the swath. The tractor-trailer combination includes a control apparatus that operates in dependence on at least one output of the one or more sensors to operate the steering mechanism of the tractor in dependence on the at least one output such that the tractor moves along the swath without any of the ground-engaging members running over the swath.
SYSTEMS, APPARATUS, AND RELATED METHODS FOR USE WITH MERGERS
Systems, apparatus, and methods for use with mergers are disclosed. A disclosed method for processing a material on a ground surface includes detecting, via one or more sensors, an object of interest associated with the material when a merger is forming a windrow on the ground surface. The method also includes a step for facilitating removal of the object of interest from the material in response to the detection.
