Agricultural vehicle with automatic motor-driven component calibration
A calibration system for an agricultural vehicle includes: a motor-driven component; a motor coupled to the motor-driven component and configured to move the motor-driven component between a maximum distance position and a home position; and a controller operatively coupled to the motor. The controller is configured to: enter a component calibration mode; output a first movement signal to the motor to cause the motor to carry the motor-driven component toward the maximum distance position; determine that the motor-driven component has reached the maximum distance position; output a second movement signal to the motor to cause the motor to carry the motor-driven component toward the home position; and determine that the motor-driven component has reached the home position.
Agricultural baler with controlled wrapping material brake
A wrapping assembly includes: a material roll that holds a roll of wrapping material; a duckbill assembly including a duckbill carrying a duckbill roll that draws material from a roll of wrapping material held by the material roll, the duckbill being movable between a first position and a second position; a duckbill actuator coupled to the duckbill that moves the duckbill between the first position and the second position; a variable brake associated with the material roll that applies a variable braking force to the material roll; and a controller operatively coupled to the duckbill actuator and the brake. The controller determines that a load on the duckbill actuator exceeds a threshold value and outputs a brake reduction signal to the brake so the brake reduces applied braking force to the material roll when the load on the duckbill actuator exceeds the threshold value.
Mechanism for tying edges of roll bales
A mechanism for tying roll bales, which allows tying and protecting the edges of the roll bales during the tying process, ensuring that the geometry thereof is kept throughout time.
BALER TWINE AND METHOD FOR TWINING BALES
A twine is disclosed. The twine comprises a mixture of at least 95 wt. % polypropylene and at most 5 wt. % additives. The twine is characterized by up to 8% vol. smectic phase. The percentage of the smectic phase is characterized using X-Ray Diffractometry (XRD). The additives are selected from, impact modifier, polyethylene, pigment, and UV stabilizer. The twine may be characterized by a ratio between a specific work to a relative stiffness, of between 40 to 55 [J*mm/KgF].
Continuous baler
A continuous baler having a movable section having an open mode and a closed mode. In the closed mode, the movable section is joined to a baling half chamber and a tying half chamber to form a baling chamber and a tying chamber, respectively. In the open mode, the movable section is moved away from the baling half chamber and tying half chamber, in order to allow passage of a bale formed in the baling chamber from the baling half chamber to the tying half chamber.
Pressing means guiding device and press
A press guiding device for a baler includes at least one continuous pressing device, at least two pressing segments, and at least one guiding device arranged at least partially between the pressing segments. The at least one guiding device is supported in a rotationally secure manner at or on a common axle with a roller.
Bale wrapping assembly for a round baler
The bale wrapping assembly for a round baler includes at least one twine inserter coupled to a drive. The drive is configured to drive the at least one twine inserter along a movement trajectory to intermittently introduce one or more twines into an outer circumferential surface of a completed bale. The one or more twines are positioned at the at least one twine inserter.
BALER CONNECTABLE TO A TRACTOR FOR PROVIDING ROUND BALES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING ROUND BALES
A baler connectable to a tractor for providing round bales comprises: a baling chamber for receiving crops for forming the bale, the baling chamber being supported on a wheel axle; a conveying assembly, including a belt which at least partially delimits the baling chamber for imparting a rotating movement to the crops contained in the baling chamber; a pick-up device, configured for picking-up the crops from a field; a feeding system, configured for feeding the crops to the baling chamber; a binder, configured for binding a formed bale with a fastening element.
Baler
A baler for agricultural crop has a pressing channel and a needle rocker pivotably arranged at the pressing channel about a rocker pivot axis arranged in a plane that is orthogonal to the longitudinal center axis of the pressing channel. A drive arrangement connected to the needle rocker pivots the needle rocker relative to the pressing channel. The needle rocker has tying needles that are moved through the pressing channel when the needle rocker is pivoted. The drive arrangement has a drive element, rotatably supported about a drive axis of rotation; a coupling device pivotably supported about a coupling pivot axis positioned stationarily relative to the pressing channel; and a drive lever with a first end eccentrically connected to the drive element and a second end connected to the coupling device. The coupling device is connected to the needle rocker spaced from the rocker pivot axis of the needle rocker.
