In some embodiments, there is also provided a disk rotatably disposed in the well, the disk comprising a body, at least one blade on one side of the body such that in use, upon rotation by a user of the disk within the well, the blade scrapes along the base of the well. In other embodiments, a dome is connectable to the device to provide a green-house effect. The system disclosed provides for an efficient and environmentally-friendly means of watering plants.

A bag at its opening periphery can be releasably mounted to the two arms through the fasteners. The bag has a drawstring with a lock, wherein the lock is immobilized in a cutout provided in the device and a leading end of the drawstring passing through the lock can extend further. A loop of the leading end of the drawstring is hooked to a hook that is coupled to a cord. The cord can be pulled to tighten the drawstring and thus the opening of the bag.

It would consist of two-pieces with hinges on the upper, middle and lower back area that would enable the user to easily clamp the device around each developing fruit or vegetable attached to a plant, while it is in the early stage of growth. The device would have a stem opening made of soft rubber split in 2 halves and a protective foam cushion, also split in 2 halves, on one end that would allow it to be attached safely and securely over the stem without crushing it. The plastic case would contain a plurality of ventilation apertures. The device could be injection molded from clear plastic, such as Polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The stem entry can be made of flexible weather resistant rubber and the foam insert could be molded from polyurethane foam or foam rubber.
