A pulling apparatus for separating one or more objects from a surface is presented. The apparatus can include a frame, one or more support members, a gripping member, and an impactor member. The apparatus can be coupled with a vehicle, such as a loader bucket of a vehicle, and can further be configured to utilize a power source of the vehicle, such as hydraulics, electricity, or any other power source. In another embodiment, the present disclosure can include a tree pulling system including a vehicle and a pulling apparatus. In another embodiment, the present disclosure can include a method of pulling a tree from the ground that can maximize efficiency by positioning an object along a common axis with one or more support members, such that force vectors representing a driving force generated by the one or more support members can be aligned with the object being pulled.

There is disclosed a system and methods of use for quickly and efficiently excavating, cross-cutting, splitting, and loading or stockpiling tree stumpage and other tree or organic materials, as well as for performing ground cleanup operations. One embodiment provides a stump harvester for attachment to a distal end of an excavator arm. The stump harvester may include front and back jaw assemblies configured to pivot between open and closed positions. The back jaw assembly may include a knife arm having a cutting blade that extends along a majority of a front side of the knife arm. A centerline plane may bisect a cutting edge of the blade. The front jaw assembly may include a planar-aligned dual anvil configured to sheath the cutting edge of the blade when the front and the back jaw assemblies move into the closed position. Other embodiments are disclosed.

A stump removal tool operable to sever a tree stump. The stump removal tool including an anchor fixedly couplable to the stump, and a cutting assembly adjustable between a closed position and an open position, and where the cutting assembly is removably couplable to the anchor.

A tree grubber implement for secure releasable attachment to a powered mobile vehicle such as skid steer includes a mounting plate having a configuration for attachment to the vehicle, an arm having a proximate end coupled to the mounting plate, and a foot coupled at an angle to a distal end of the arm. The foot has at least two spaced apart claws extending substantially downwardly and inwardly toward the vehicle.

An object lifting, pulling and digging apparatus has a pair of jaws that can be opened to enable positioning the jaws around a post, tree, and/or bush then closed around the post, tree, and/or bush. The jaws can then be raised to pull the post, tree, and/or bush from the ground. The jaws of the apparatus can also be closed and angled downwardly to drive the distal ends of the jaws into the ground, where the jaws can then be moved upwardly to dig the post, tree, and/or bush from the ground. The apparatus can easily be attached to a vehicle equipped with a universal quick attach hitch and having auxiliary hydraulics, for example, a “skid steer” type farm or construction vehicle.

A tree stump removal device is disclosed. The device includes an annular housing having cutters attached thereto. A method of removing a tree stump is disclosed that includes lowering a tree stump removal device into the ground surrounding the tree stump to sever some of the horizontal roots extending from the tree stump.

The post-extracting tool is a pair of tongs adapted to remove posts, small trees, and bushes from the ground. Each arm of the tongs comprise a lever, a jaw and a loop. Each jaw has teeth that can bite into the object being removed. The arms of the tongs pivot at a pivot point. The post-extracting tool can be position near the object being removed with a set of teeth on either side of the object. A vehicle can be used to pull on the loops, simultaneously pulling the arms together so that the teeth bite into the object and pulling the tool and the object away.

A system and method for an adapter device. The adapter device can be used to couple to a pole for positioning or extraction. The adapter body has a first end coupled to a guiding edge and a second end coupled to a gripping edge. A securing device couples the adapter coupler to the adapter body via at least one coupler guide. The adapter coupler exits the coupler guide and forms a closed loop. When pulled, the closed loop tightens around and grips the pole.
