HORTICULTURAL CONTAINER WITH TAG SLOT
Provided is a horticultural container including a body, a base extending from a bottom of the body, and an upper rim extending from a top of the body. The upper rim has a tag slot extending therethrough for receiving a tag and a chamfer radially outwardly spaced from and adjacent to the tag slot for receiving ears of the tag when the tag is in the tag slot. In this way, the tag is received in the tag slot and chamfer to secure the tag to hinder or prevent unauthorized removal of the tag.
INFORMATIONAL TAGS FOR CONTAINERS AND METHODS OF ASSEMBLY
Disclosed herein is an informational tag for a container such as a garden or plant pot. The informational tag may include a body having an upper end, a lower end, and a display area for receiving printed information. The informational tag may also include a pair of downwardly extending tabs arranged on opposite sides of the upper end of the body and each being configured for insertion into the container. Additionally, the informational tag may include an upwardly extending tab arranged between the pair of downwardly extending tabs and configured to engage a rim of the container to inhibit upward movement of the informational tag relative to the container. Further disclosed is an assembly including a container with an informational tag attached thereto, and a method of assembly.
Planting pot and tray system and method
A planting pot and tray system comprises a plurality of pots and a tray having multiple receptacles configured to receive the pots. Each pot includes at least one rounded side, and at least one generally flat side, with each receptacle including at least one curved wall and at least one generally straight wall. The receptacles are configured to receive the pots with the rounded and flat sides of the pot engaging with respective walls of the receptacle to whereby the respective shapes of the receptacles and pots orient the pots within the receptacles. A front wall of the receptacle is shorter than the pot whereby a portion of side of the pot is exposed and directed outwardly from the tray.

The system receives climate data and plant data and selects plants for a geographical division based on the climate data and plant data. The system generates durable plant tags with for the plants that have an icon that identifies the lighting level and watering level of the plants using a color and a number.
Pod Insert for Pod Gardening Systems
The present invention relates to a novel insert for covering empty or unused pods of an indoor or pod gardening system. The pod insert includes an insert component that is placed inside a pod to fill empty space and a decorative or grasping topper element component that is placed on top of the insert to cover the pod. The grasping topper element is fastened to the insert for securing the topper to cover the pod. In one variant of the insert, the topper includes a weighted base that can be placed on top of the empty pod thereby eliminating need of fastening the topper. The decorative or grasping topper element can come in a variety of designs and can have an illumination source and a solar panel. The decorative insert effectively prevents algae, moss, and bacteria from growing within the pod while providing aesthetic appeal to the system.

A smart collar to be worn by an animal includes an imaging device configured to capture a plurality of images, and a microprocessor in communication with the imaging device to receive the plurality of captured images in real-time. The microprocessor is configured to perform at least one action selected from the group consisting of: analyze the plurality of captured images, compare the plurality of captured images with stored images, recognize at least one of a person, an animal, and an object depicted in at least one of the plurality of images, identify a behavior of the animal, issue a corrective action, issue an approving action, and issue an alert to a user.

Horticulture fastener
A fastener device adapted for attaching at least one tag (or other identifier) to an object. The fastener device comprises a T-bar component, a paddle component, and a filament component flexibly attached to both the T-bar component on one end and the paddle component on the other end. In some embodiments, the fastener device is deployable via a fastener dispensing device comprising a needle designed to puncture a hole in at least one tag and the object while also inserting the T-bar component through the hole. Once inserted, the paddle component exerts a cantilever spring force against at least one tag holding the tag(s) securely against the object.
