Insertable planter, system, and methods
An insertable planter system may include a container and an insert. A container may include a rim, an outer wall comprising an inner surface, a bottom portion comprising a floor, wherein the inner surface and floor may define a liquid reservoir. The floor may further include a positioning structure. An insert may include a lip, a sidewall, and a bottom. The sidewall and bottom may define a plant chamber. The insert may further include a complementary supporting structure, such that the container receives the insert so that the insert can be rotated into a suitable orientation where the complementary supporting structure of the insert engages the positioning structure of the container. A plant delivery method or system including such inserts, and a computer readable medium containing instructions for same.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ACCESSORIZING A CONTAINER
A container and accessory system comprising a bottom, at least one wall, and at least one accessory. The exterior of the wall is comprised of a plurality of holes. The accessory has a face and a peg which is configured to be insertable into the holes to allow the accessory to be removably attached to the container. This allows accessories to be attached to and removed from the container without disturbing the contents of the container.
Flower water receiver
A flower water receiver includes a main body formed in a cylindrical shape with an open top to store water, a self-watering module installed on a central portion of a bottom of the main body to form water by condensing moisture in the air, a support formed on a part of the main body in the vicinity of a circumference of the self-watering module to support a circumference of a lower portion of a flower pot placed in an upper portion of the main body, and a wick support member, when the flower pot is placed in the upper portion of the main body, supporting a wick configured to absorb water in the lower portion of the main body and transfer the water to the inside of the flower pot, to be inserted into an inside of a drain hole of the lower portion of the flower pot.
PLANT POT WITH REMOVABLE BASIN
A plant pot assembly including a pot portion. At least one sidewall extends upward from a sidewall bottom section to an upper rim and a dividing that, with the bottom section, upper rim, and sidewalls defines a soil cavity and basin cavity. The dividing structure defines a drain aperture connecting the soil cavity and the basin cavity. A basin portion includes a basin floor, a basin front, a basin back, at least one basin sidewall, and an elevated portion. The at least one sidewall defines an opening in the basin cavity whereby the basin portion may be inserted into the basin cavity. In a first basin position, the fluid may flow from the soil cavity, through the drain aperture, and into the basin cavity. In a second basin position, the fluid may not flow from the soil cavity into the basin cavity.
Plant Cultivation System Using Plant Hangers With Plant Trays At Multiple Heights
A plant hanger assembly having multiple level plant trays, useful for growing plants in an upright configuration is provided for use with a trolley conveyor. A plurality of plant trays of selected size and shape are provided spaced apart along a vertical axis. A vertical support shaft has an upper end and a lower end. The plant trays may be circular in shape, with sloping sidewalls. The sloping sidewalls may be angled out sufficiently that the plant trays can be stacked in a nested configuration for storage. The plant trays include a base having grooved channels for transfer of water on the obverse side, and reinforcing ribs for strength, on the reverse side. Apertures between the obverse side and the reverse side allow excess water in an upper plant tray to drain downward into a plant tray therebelow. Shaft couplers are provided, with attachment rings or pins, to securely join the plant trays to the vertical support shaft. The plant hangers are adapted for attachment to and use with a trolley conveyor in a plant factory.
APPARATUS AND SYSTEMS FOR PLANT CULTIVATIONS
There is described an apparatus and system for the cultivation of plants. The system comprises a floor comprising at least one recess extending below the floor. The system also comprises one or more receptacles. Each receptacle is configured to receive a root system of a plant therein, and further configured to fit into one of the at least recess such that the root system of the plant is located below the floor. Each receptacle comprises a collar and an insert configured to be at least partially received within the collar. Each collar is configured to engage the sides of a recess and each insert is configured to extend below the floor.
System and Apparatus for Growing Plants
An apparatus for growing plants is includes a body section having an upper orifice, a lower orifice, a back section, and at least one door. The upper orifice allows for planting of a plant while the at least one door allows for removal of the plant for transplanting. The upper orifice is smaller in cross-sectional area than the lower orifice allowing for plants to grow in their natural pattern giving the roots more room to grow in more soil from which to absorb nutrients making for a happier, healthier plant which will not need to be transplanted as often.
Plant Pot Having Drain Opening
A plant pot 1 comprises a bounding wall 2 formed by a side wall 3 and a bottom 5 and includes a gel space 7 in which swellable gel grains 9 are accommodated filling the gel space in swollen state.
The plant pot further includes a substrate space 11 in which a substrate, for example, soil is accommodated. A bounding wall portion 2A, 2B bounds a part of the second space 11. Drainage openings 13 are located in the bottom 5 of this bounding wall portion 2B next to the gel space 7.
The first space 7 is partly bounded by a further bounding wall portion 2D, 2E of the bounding wall 2. Aeration openings 14 are located in this further bounding wall portion.
The gel grains 9 are contained in a pad which further includes a flexible separation sheet 15 which forms a root-permeable separation between the gel and soil during use.
PLANTER KIT
A planter kit may include a pan with a top surface and a wall extending upward from the top surface. A container may include a base and a wall extending upward from the base. At least one opening may be defined by the base. Multiple supporting members may be detachably coupled to the base. At least one of the supporting members may be tubular and configured to extend at least partially into the opening of the base of the container, thereby enabling fluid to pass from the container to the pan. At least one of the supporting members may include a horizontal support member. An object may provide external design to the container, and may rest on the horizontal support member. When a portion of the object rests on the horizontal support member, the portion is below the bottom surface of the base of the container and above the pan.
INDEXING PLANTS IN TWO-DIMENSIONAL AND THREE-DIMENSIONAL SPACE IN A CONTROLLED GROWING ENVIRONMENT
