MOVABLE STAKE AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING AND TRAINING ONE OR MORE BRANCHES IN PLANT CULTIVATION
Movable stake and method of using it for supporting and managing the cultivation of plant species, such as a vineyard or the like, in which at least one part of the branches are buried in the soil during the cold season. The movable stake includes a deformable element on which are fastened the branches to be buried and has a first free end and a second end anchored to the ground; the first free end is suitable to be engaged either with the soil or with a horizontal wire that supports the branches of the plant being cultivated.
PLANT GROWTH STIMULATION DEVICE AND METHOD
This invention provides a low stress training device and method for growing a plant from the Cannabaceae family. The device comprises a mast and a cultivator moveably attached to the mast such that the cultivator may be fixed into a variety of positions along the mast. The method for using the device in a low stress training process leads to increased size, quality, and quantity of colas on plants from the Cannabaceae family through stimulating cytokinin and auxin development.
A PLANT CLIMBING COLUMN
The present invention discloses a plant climbing column, comprising a climbing column body, in which a receiving hole is arranged, and at least one end of the receiving hole is open; a connecting component, arranged at the open end of the receiving hole so that the connecting component is detachably connected to the climbing column body. The connecting component can enclose the open end of the receiving hole. The present invention can improve the convenience for the use of plant climbing columns.
DISPOSABLE KITCHEN UTENSILS AND CUTLERY
The invention relates to disposable utensils such as kitchen utensils and cutlery. The technical problem is how to adapt the utensil to get extra usability and to allow its biodegradation after its primary use for serving or consuming food. The problem is solved by utensils comprising an elongated flat handle connected via a neck to a part of a food handling utensil, the handle having a through hole at the proximal end, and the utensil further comprising at least one plant seed arranged in the through hole, and a biodegradable, preferably composting barrier arranged on the handle so as to close the through hole on both sides and retain the plant seed in the through hole. The barrier can be formed as a film made of chitosan, alginate, gelatine or from a starch-based material, from cellulose-based material or protein-based material obtained from chicken gluten or casein. Having completed its primary use, the utensil is used as a planting tool that also serves as a support to a plant and gets eventually naturally degraded.
AGRICULTURAL STAKE TO SUPPORT PLANTS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
An agricultural stake to support plants includes a fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) elongated member comprising a top end and a bottom end, and a textured exterior surface. The agricultural stake includes an elongated member comprising a thin walled tube having a top end and a bottom end, and the elongated member comprises fiberglass reinforced plastic and exhibits no flex memory. The elongated member has an exterior surface texture configured to provide purchase to a line attached to the elongated member, where the exterior surface texture is formed by an abrasive.
Plant support apparatus
The present application discloses a support apparatus having: (a) pole, aligned in an approximately vertical orientation when in use, and a cross section, wherein the pole comprises one or more pairs of diametrically opposed holes, positioned along the length of the pole; (b) a unitary open hoop, approximately in a plane, comprising an elastic material; and further comprising: a first end portion an a second end portion; wherein when in use, the hoop is compressed so that the first end portion and the second end portion are urged past each other to form a parallel locus; and wherein when the hoop is compressed, the first end portion and the second end portion are formed as if bent to mate with and apply an opposed tension to a pair of diametrically opposed holes in the pole; and wherein when the hoop is compressed, the parallel locus engages with the pole to impede the vertical swing of the hoop.
Plant Support Device
A plant support device for providing support to the stem of a plant includes a rod that is configured to insert vertically into a planting bed. A positioner is slidably couplable to the rod. A holder, which comprises a strap, is coupled to the positioner. The strap is variably couplable to the holder to form a loop. The rod is configured to insert vertically into the planting bed proximate to a stem of a plant requiring support. The positioner is variably couplable to the rod such that the positioner is positionable at a required height relative to the stem. The strap is configured to position around the stem of the plant and to couple to the holder to form the loop. The loop extends from the holder around the stem of the plant to support the plant.
Landscape Edging Stake and Method
A landscape edging stake includes a driving end, a penetration end and an edging engagement portion positioned between the driving end and the penetration end. The edging engagement portion includes a rib configured to engage an inner wall of an anchoring bore of an edging link. A ground engagement portion is positioned between the edging engagement portion and the penetration end and includes a helical groove or thread.
COLLAPSIBLE SUPPORT STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a collapsible support structure and its method of use. The support structure has a vertical support with a water inlet and tip with one or more holes. The vertical support in one arrangement is separable into a first and second portion that is connected by inserting the first portion into a receiving end of the second portion. Connection members connect horizontal supports to the vertical support. The horizontal supports extend perpendicularly outward from the vertical body due their friction fit connection, which allows for their unaided extension. The method of use includes attaching a water source to the water inlet to pressurize water within the vertical support that projects water from the tip. In turn, the vertical support is easily inserted into the ground, where it is left in place until the ground dries to the vertical support providing additional rigidity and support.
Garden seed planter
A garden seed planter that displays a color for identifying the type of garden product that will be produced by a plant from a seed contained in a starch capsule of the garden seed planter. In a preferred lollipop form embodiment at least a portion of the garden seed planter starch capsule has a colored coating that is substantially the same color as the garden product produced by the plant to be grown from the seed, and there is a planter stake attached to the seed capsule having a portion that also displays substantially the same color as the garden product.
