The present invention further relates to a process for producing the agricultural film (AF) and to the use of the agricultural film (AF) as mulch film, as silage film, as greenhouse film or as silo film.
ATMOSPHERIC WATER GENERATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS UTILIZING MEMBRANE-BASED WATER EXTRACTION
An atmospheric water generation system absorbs water from an atmospheric air stream into a desiccant flowing along a flow path of a closed desiccant circulation loop. To ensure that the desiccant remains within the closed desiccant circulation loop, the atmospheric water generation system encompasses a membrane-based water extraction device that the desiccant flows through. The desiccant flows through the membrane-based water extraction device on a first side of a membrane, and the membrane separates the desiccant from a water-collection flow. Water absorbed into the desiccant passes from the desiccant, through the porous membrane, and into the water-collection flow, at least in part due to differences in temperature and/or pressure characteristics of the water flow and the desiccant flow. Water collected within the water-collection flow is directed to a storage tank for usage.
PORTABLE GROUND COVER DEVICES
Portable ground cover devices, kits, and methods of assembly and use. A ground cover device includes a frame that may be assembled to a size suitable for use to cover a garden. A cover may be attached to the frame such that the cover is within an interior of the frame when assembled. When in an expanded configuration, the device may be placed over the garden to encourage plant growth and protect the garden from adverse weather, wildlife, and other environmental stressors. The device may be transitioned from the expanded configuration to a retracted configuration for storage or transport of the device when not in use.

There is described a method of growing a plant having at least one light absorbing pigment, the at least one light absorbing pigment absorbing optical energy at absorbing wavelengths. The method generally has illuminating the plant growing light, the growing light having optical energy within at least two spectral regions each encompassing a given wavelength, the given wavelengths being out of tune with the absorbing wavelengths of the at least one light absorbing pigment, the at least two spectral regions being selected from a group consisting of a first spectral region below 400 nm, a second spectral region at about 430 nm, a third spectral region at about 480 nm, a fourth spectral region at about 595 nm, a fifth spectral region at about 640 nm, a sixth spectral region at about 660 nm and a seventh spectral region at about 675 nm.
MULTI-SOURCE HEAT EXCHANGE SYSTEM EMPLOYING A GROUND-ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT ENCLOSURES
A multi-source ground-to-air heat transfer system is configured to store thermal energy during a cooling/dehumidifcation mode of operation for future use during a heating mode of operation. The multi-source ground-to-air heat transfer system utilizes a ground loop that is configured under an enclosure, such as a greenhouse, and is in thermal communication with a thermal reservoir medium to conduct and store heat. A thermal exchange fluid is pumped through the ground loop and ground heat exchanger and may receive heat from a condenser during a cooling/dehumidification mode of operation and may liberate heat to the evaporator during a heating mode. The enclosure air may receive heat from the heat pump during a heating mode and may liberate heat to the evaporator during a cooling/dehumidification mode. The heat exchange system may employ a heat pump having a reversing valve to change the mode of operation.
