Herbicide-resistant grain sorghum
A fluazifop-resistant sorghum cultivar designated ‘21534_ACCase-R’ and plants comprising a polynucleotide encoding the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO: 39 are disclosed herein. The present invention provides seeds, plants, and plant parts derived from sorghum cultivar ‘21534_ACCase-R’ and those including SEQ ID NO: 39. Further, it provides methods for producing a sorghum plant by crossing ‘21534_ACCase-R’ with itself or another sorghum variety. The invention also encompasses any sorghum seeds, plants, and plant parts produced by the methods disclosed herein, including those in which additional traits have been transferred into ‘21534_ACCase-R’ through the introduction of a transgene or by breeding ‘21534_ACCase-R’ with another sorghum cultivar.
Plants and seeds of corn variety CV925302
According to the invention, there is provided seed and plants of the corn variety designated CV925302. The invention thus relates to the plants, seeds and tissue cultures of the variety CV925302, and to methods for producing a corn plant produced by crossing a corn plant of variety CV925302 with itself or with another corn plant, such as a plant of another variety. The invention further relates to corn seeds and plants produced by crossing plants of variety CV925302 with plants of another variety, such as another inbred line. The invention further relates to the inbred and hybrid genetic complements of plants of variety CV925302.
Rice Cultivar Designated 'CLL17'
The herbicide-tolerant rice cultivar designated ‘CLL17’ and its hybrids and derivatives are disclosed.
COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR CONFERRING AND/OR ENHANCING TOLERANCE AGAINST HERBICIDES BY USING VARIANTS OF PPO
Provided is a technology for conferring more enhanced tolerance of plants and/or algae against herbicides and/or more greatly enhancing tolerance by using amino acid variants of protoporphyrinogen IX oxidases derived from microorganisms.
HERBICIDE RESISTANT PLANTS
The present invention relates to plants having resistance to PPO inhibiting herbicides such as the herbicide oxyfluorfen conferred by a loss of function of one or more sulfolipid biosynthesis enzymes involved in the sulfolipid biosynthesis pathway and methods of producing said plants. The invention also relates to methods of producing a plant having resistance to PPO inhibiting herbicides, including but not limited to the herbicide oxyfluorfen, by modulating the expression of one or more sulfolipid biosynthesis genes and/or function of one or more sulfolipid biosynthesis enzymes involved in the sulfolipid biosynthesis pathway, and to plants produced by the methods.
INBRED WATERMELON LINE WDL0090
One embodiment relates to seed and plants of inbred watermelon line WDL0090. Another embodiment relates to the plants, seeds and tissue cultures of inbred watermelon line WDL0090, and to methods for producing a watermelon plant produced by crossing such plants with themselves, with another watermelon plant, such as a plant of another genotype, or with vegetatively propagating said plant. Another embodiment further relates to seeds and plants produced by such crossing. Further embodiments relate to parts of such plants, including the fruit and gametes of such plants.
Composition and method for conferring and/or enhancing herbicide tolerance using variants of protoporphyrinogen IX oxidase from cyanobacteria
Provided is a technology for conferring enhanced tolerance and/or enhancing tolerance to a herbicide of a plant and/or algae by using amino acid variants of protoporphyrinogen IX oxidase derived from prokaryotes.
Rice cultivar ‘CLM04’
A rice cultivar designated CLM04 is disclosed herein. The present invention provides seeds, plants, and plant parts derived from rice cultivar CLM04. Further, it provides methods for producing a rice plant by crossing CLM04 with itself or another rice variety and methods for combating undesired vegetation by contacting the disclosed rice seeds with an AHAS-inhibiting herbicide. The invention also encompasses any rice seeds, plants, and plant parts produced by the methods disclosed herein, including those in which additional traits have been transferred into CLM04 through the introduction of a transgene or by breeding CLM04 with another rice cultivar.
Rice Cultivar Designated 'PVL03'
The herbicide-tolerant rice cultivar designated ‘PVL03’ and its hybrids and derivatives are disclosed.
