The wet curtain is formed by a low-cost common material, namely a plastic net and the like, is convenient to mount, detach, and wash, and is not prone to making dust, scale, algae, mosquitos, and the like accumulate thereon, thus reducing the replacement cost and use cost. Therefore, a new cooling method based on the wet curtain is provided for pig farms in summer, and it is also suitable for other livestock farms in summer.

A structure for sheltering and cooling livestock may include a concrete floored barn having an improved evaporative cooling system. The cooling system may include a misting stack having air inlets, a mixing chamber, and three cooling zones wherein the cooling zones correspond to three different temperature ranges. Each of the cooling zones may include a plurality of nozzles which produce a mist. As air passes through the mixing chamber, the mist may evaporate and cool the air. The cooling system may further include a plurality of large exhaust fans located at an end of the barn distal from the misting stack. The fans may draw the cool air through the barn, over and around the livestock, and out of the barn.

An animal comfort accessory for use with an animal enclosure includes a cover configured to fit over the animal's enclosure to decrease noise and light for the animal in the enclosure. A scent blower moves air past a scent collector and delivers a soothing sent to the animal inside the enclosure. The scent blower and cover are contained in a pouch for convenient storage and travel. Additional accessories such as a speaker, camera, and video display may also be stored in the pouch and used with the animal to provide a comforting space for the animal.

A motorized threaded member is configured to move a load block within the machine interior, for example to actuate a cable-based curtain mechanism, with both the load block and threaded member disposed outside the enclosure interior. The enclosure interior of the control enclosure includes a control circuit configured to operate the motor, and a mechanical limit switch configured to be mechanically actuated by the load block to stop the motor responsive to the load block moving along the threaded member beyond a predetermined threshold.

The agricultural membrane curtain comprises a curtain body made of a non-porous fabric material and one or more breathable hem pockets extending along the bottom edge of the curtain body. The hem pocket is sewn to the curtain body using a plurality of intersecting sew lines creating an interlocking stitch pattern to avoid unraveling due to thread damage. The sew lines may comprise thread, yarn, or filament and the interlocking stitch pattern forms multiple stop points for automatic sealing in the event of deterioration of one or more stitches.

The curtain support system includes a pair of outer walls and an upper frame to provide a curtain receiving space. The curtain covers the curtain receiving space and includes a first non-transparent panel and transparent panel connected to the first non-transparent panel. The retraction system is connected to the curtain to lower and raise the transparent panel.

A plurality of air inlet holes and small inlet windows are uniformly provided on the air inlet plate. A plurality of wet curtains and an air vent are provided on the sidewall. A plurality of air outlet slots are uniformly provided on the inner wall.
