Provide herein is a deer rub or lure and a method of luring a deer to a selected area. The deer rub or lure has a trunk or signpost with at least one aperture extending therein. A flexible rod extends into at least one of the apertures. Each of the flexible rods extends from the trunk or signpost at an angle between 90° and 180°. A licking branch is attached to the flexible rod. A flexible support extends from a lower end of the trunk or signpost, and the support is configured to flexibly support the trunk or signpost in a substantially vertical orientation.

A brush device for brushing an animal, in particular the back, head and/or tail of the animal, such as a cow, includes a rotatable brush, as well as an electric drive motor, which is configured to supply a drive torque for rotatably driving the brush in at least one rotation direction. The drive torque supplied by the drive motor is set in such a manner that the brush can be turned back by means of muscular power of the animal and/or an individual counter to the driven rotation direction while said drive torque is being supplied by the drive motor.

An animal care or cleaning device has a brush (2) mounted on a brush shaft (16), drivable by an electric motor drive (36) to rotate the brush (2). The brush shaft is rotatably mounted in a bearing (14) provided on a support (4, 6), and has an actuator by which the drive (36) can be actuated as a function of contact of the brush (2) with an animal body. The bearing (14) has at least one shaft bearing (14) that holds the axis of rotation of the brush (2) in a fixed positional relationship to the support (4, 6). The drive (36) is driven by torque acting on the brush shaft (16) in one or other direction of rotation, caused by an impact motion of the animal body on the brush (2), and is carried along at most to a predeterminable dead stop on the support (4, 6). The drive triggers the actuator (42) for actuating the drive (36) during this motion.

An apparatus for removably attaching a brush to the interior of a portal whereby a flexible brush backing to which the brush is attached is slid into, and retained by, grooves in the portal. The brush backing is removable from the portal without removing the portal from the door, wall, or other article into which the portal is installed.

A tailboard system for horse stalls. A pet grooming device includes a first positioning member and a second positioning member. The second positioning member includes one or more assembling hole. The assembling hole includes a grooming brush. The first positioning member and the second positioning member are combined with each other.

An animal clean feeder device is provided comprising a feeding structure having at least three sides, and at least one opening on one of the three sides, where the opening is large enough for a domestic animal to insert their head through. A grooming apparatus for a household pet is provided having a wall with an opening for admitting the pet into an enclosure, whereby a flexible, resilient sheet positioned in the opening is deflected by the pet and a pressure sensitive adhesive on the surface of the sheet attracts and retains loose pet hair.
