The door unit is biased into a closed position having the door unit extending across the door frame. Thus, the door unit may inhibit an animal from passing through the door frame. The door unit is selectively urged into an open position. Thus, the door unit facilitates the animal to pass through the door frame.
DOG TRAINING DEVICE
Various disclosed embodiments include illustrative apparatuses and dog training devices. In an illustrative embodiment, a dog training device includes a harness and a rigid rod. The harness includes a back section, a chest section configured to attach to the back section, and a rod mount configured to attach behind a distal half of the back section. The rigid rod is configured to be received by the rod mount at a first angle relative to the back section to allow the rigid rod to protrude proximally from the harness.

Animal retention apparatus and method
Animal retention apparatus, and method and applications thereof, having multiple support guides and a frame member with multiple passageways, the support guides being adapted for being inserted into the passageways and removably held at desired locations in the frame member, horizontally or at various angles to enhance retention of the animal, so that support guide would come in adjacent contact with an animal's anatomy to hold the animal in a desired position as the animal is positioned alongside the frame member. A method of working on an animal involves obtaining an embodiment of the animal retention apparatus and positioning the animal alongside a side of the frame member, placing support guides at height and width locations in the apparatus frame member that will hold the animal in a desired position, and working on sides of the animal that face away from the side of the frame member.
