LOW-PROFILE SNAKE BARRIER
Embodiments disclosed herein provide a low-profile snake barrier that includes a plurality of sections that form a boundary. One section of the plurality of sections includes a screen-type material that is supported by a first support brace at a first end of the one section and a second support brace at a second end of the one section opposite the first end. The support braces support the screen-type material in a collapsed configuration and an erect configuration, where the erect configuration includes an upright portion of the screen-type material extending upward from the ground and an overhang portion of the screen-type material extending from the upright portion. In the collapsed configuration, the upright portion and the overhang portion are parallel to the ground. Each support brace include pivotably coupled members.
Fence footing
Assemblies and methods for securing an elongate apertured fence to the ground. The fence includes an upper section which is apertured and which extends upwards from the ground, and a lower section which may or may not be apertured and which is not buried in the ground. The lower section is contacted by a footing member which is secured to the ground and which stabilizes the fence along a desired line along the ground. In some embodiments, the lower fence section is parallel to the ground, and at least part of the footing member lies between the lower fence section and the ground.
MOTOR-FAN ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A HYDRAULIC HEAT TRANSFER FLUID COOLING CIRCUIT
The invention concerns a motor-fan assembly (3) dedicated to cooling a motor vehicle component (1), the motor-fan assembly (3) comprising an air propelling device (5, 7), characterized in that the air propelling device (5, 7) incorporates a hydraulic circuit (31a, 31b, 31c) through which a heat transfer fluid (Fe) flows.
Drift fence camera trap
A drift fence camera trap enclosure includes a frame and sheathing mounted on the frame. An opening extends from a first side of the drift fence camera trap enclosure to a second side of the drift camera enclosure. A threshold is located within the opening. A detection unit detects passage of an animal over the threshold. A camera is configured to capture pictures or video of the animal as the animals cross the threshold.
Low-profile snake barrier
A low-profile snake barrier includes a plurality of sections that form a boundary.
Tunnel camera system
An animal detection unit detects cold-blooded animals and small mammals traversing a tunnel or other constricted area. The animal detection unit includes an elevated threshold that extends across a width of the tunnel or other constricted area. A photo emitter generates a light beam. The photo emitter is located at a first end of the elevated threshold. A photoelectric receiver receives the light beam. The photoelectric receiver is located at a second end of the elevated threshold. The light beam is low enough with respect to the elevated threshold that cold-blooded animals and small mammals moving over the elevated threshold are raised in height sufficiently to block the light beam as the cold-blooded animals and small mammals move over the elevated threshold. A camera is mounted on the frame. The camera is aimed and focused to capture visual recordings of the cold-blooded animals and small mammals as they move over the elevated threshold. The photoelectric receiver sends a trigger signal when an animal blocks the light beam. The camera captures a first visual recording of the animal when the photoelectric receiver sends the trigger signal.
Pin-retained snake barrier
A snake barrier includes a plurality of barrier sections forming a boundary, each barrier section includes material in the form of an upright portion and an overhang portion extending generally perpendicular to the upright portion. A first support brace is removably coupled to a first base plate using a first retainer pin and is secured to the material at a first end of the barrier section. The first support brace includes a first upright member supporting the upright portion and a first overhang support member supporting the overhang portion. A second support brace is removably coupled to a second base plate using a second retainer pin and is secured to the material at a second end of the barrier section opposite the first end, the second support brace includes a second upright member supporting the upright portion and a second overhang support member supporting the overhang portion.

PIN-RETAINED SNAKE BARRIER
A barrier section of a snake barrier includes an upright portion and an overhang portion. First and second support braces support the upright portion and the overhang portion. Each of the first and second support braces include an upright member supporting the upright portion and an overhang support member pivotably coupled to the upright member and supporting the overhang portion. The upright member defines a lay-flat-configuration hole and an erect-configuration hole. The first and second support braces each include a projection configured to be received by the lay-flat-configuration hole to position the overhang support member generally parallel to the upright member and configured to be received by the erect-configuration hole to position the overhang support member generally orthogonal to the first upright member.
