FISHING STORAGE DEVICE
A fishing system includes a container having a cavity sized to pass a jig line therethrough and to store the jig line and fasteners for releasably connecting the container to a fishing rod. The fasteners are configured to secure ends of the jig line to an exterior of the container.
INTERNAL LINE TELESCOPIC FISHING ROD
A fishing rod includes at least three telescopic sections: a first section, N0, a last tip section, and an intermediate section. The first section defines a line input passage on the periphery thereof. The rod goes from fully retracted to deployed positions, and a semi-retracted position, called the line input position, in which section N0+i, i≥1, is deployed with respect to section N0 and in which the tip is received into such section. A first retainer abuts, in the semi-retracted position, against the tip to retain the tip with respect to section and prevent it from reaching the line input passage. A second retainer holds the tip in the semi-retracted position when subjected to forces of less than 10 N tending to move it away from section N0, in a location at less than 30 centimetres, from a position of abutment against the first retainer.
Extensible pole coupling assembly
A coupling assembly to releasably couple two or more tubes together. The tubes can be assembled and disassembled with conventional hand tools. A line or cable can be routed through the tubes. The coupling assembly can prevent snagging of lines on the exterior of the tubes. The coupling assembly can flex with the tubes under load, and the line can be fed through the coupling assembly without snagging.
CAST CONTROL AND DRAG MECHANISM
A fishing rod including a rod body, a free line cast control and drag mechanism operatively connected to a proximal end of the rod body, and a line operatively threaded through the free line cast control and drag mechanism and running through a hollow passageway of the rod body and out a distal end. A method of fishing with the fishing rod by casting the line out of the distal end of the rod body onto a body of water, detecting that a fish is on the line, and pulling the line through the proximal end of the rod body and through the free line cast control and drag mechanism.
Line feeding mechanism for interline fishing rods and related apparatus
The present disclosure provides a feeding mechanism for an interline fishing rod which couples to the rear end of the rod body or handle. The feeding mechanism differs from conventional designs by receiving a fishing line from the reel in a direction moving away from the rod tip, the line is then pulled around an internal pulley in the feeding mechanism housing and fed through a channel that is aligned with the central channel of the interline rod when coupled to it. The design protects the fishing line from tangling and damage while facilitating fast and easy assembly of the rod for use. Various accessories and compatible rod designs are also provided.
Fishing system with dexterity portion
A fishing system may have at least a fishing assembly with a handle axially aligned with a reel and a rod. The handle can have a hollow portion and a dexterity portion. The reel may be oriented relative to the handle to position a center of gravity of the fishing assembly in the handle. A fishing line may continuously extend from the reel through the hollow portion, atop the dexterity portion, and along the rod.
Internal line telescopic fishing rod
A fishing rod includes at least three telescopic sections: a first section, N0, a last tip section, and an intermediate section. The first section defines a line input passage on the periphery thereof. The rod goes from fully retracted to deployed positions, and a semi-retracted position, called the line input position, in which section N0+i, i1, is deployed with respect to section N0 and in which the tip is received into such section.
Telescoping Fishing Rod Assembly
This invention relates to a hollow telescoping fishing rod assembly with an inventive mounting block on the handle that aligns a hollow rod with a fishing reel so that the fishing line port of the reel is axially aligned with the opening in the proximal end of the hollow fishing rod. In some embodiments, the mounting block has a hinging mechanism to provide access to the end of the rod. The rod is segmented and provided with internal ferrules that reduce wear on the fishing line.
Fishing storage device
A fishing system includes a container having a cavity sized to pass a jig line therethrough and to store the jig line and fasteners for releasably connecting the container to a fishing rod. The fasteners are configured to secure ends of the jig line to an exterior of the container.
