Fishing information management system
A fishing information management system has a fishing rod to which a fishing reel with a spool capable of winding a fishing line is attached, and is configured to include an operation/environment information detector that detects information on operation and environment of operation of fishing tools when in use including the fishing reel and the fishing rod, a calculator that calculates the skill levels in operating the fishing tools from information on the operation of the fishing tools, a storage that stores the detection values and the skill levels, and an indicator that displays at least either of the detection values or the skill levels.
Pressure dispersing apparatus and method of using same for fishing rod
An improved fishing rod butt component that has only one non-rusting, self-latching, moving part which can rotate smoothly from a self-locking literal alignment with the fishing rod into a non-injurious, moveable within ninety (90) degrees to a lower barrel T shaped body (e.g., requiring no positioning pins, levers, potentially rusting springs, screws, wooden covers, wedges or retainers) to be held against the body of the fisherman or user during a fish fight. The fishing rod butt can be retro-fitted as an improvement to an existing or pre-owned fishing rod that needs additional comfort and stability also includes a gimbal butt apparatus.
PIVOTING FISHING ROD AND REEL
Described herein is a fishing spool comprising: a hub, a first flange and a second flange extending circumferentially from the hub; a plurality of pin keepers disposed on the first flange; a drop pin shaped to be inserted into a selected one of the plurality of pin keepers. The fishing spool may be installed in a fishing rod, such as a pivoting fishing rod device comprising: a fishing rod frame pivotally coupled to a base arm on a rotational joint; the fishing rod frame comprising a rod arm and a support arm; rotation of the fishing rod frame relative to the base arm provided on an axis of rotation defined by the rotational joint, the rod arm coupled to the support arm so that the rotation of the rod arm and the support arm is co-dependent; a first resilient member coupled to a first attachment point mounted on the base arm and a second attachment point mounted on the support arm, the first resilient member configured to produce a tension counterbalance force as a distance between the first attachment point and the second attachment point increases; a reel comprising the spool rotationally coupled to a shaft extending from the base arm, the drop pin coupled to the base arm, the drop pin inserted into the selected one of the plurality of pin keepers to limit rotation of the spool.
Fishing information management system
A fishing information management system has a fishing rod to which a fishing reel with a spool capable of winding a fishing line is attached, and is configured to include an operation/environment information detector that detects information on operation and environment of operation of fishing tools when in use including the fishing reel and the fishing rod, a calculator that calculates hit values related to catching fish from information on the operation of the fishing tools, a storage that stores the detection values and the hit values, and an indicator that displays at least either of the detection values or the hit values.
Fishing vibrator
a fishing vibrator that is configured to be mounted on a fishing pole when fishing. The fishing vibrator comprises of a housing, a battery that is housed within the housing, a vibrating motor that is housed in the housing, the vibrating motor is operatively connected to the battery; an offset flywheel that is attached to the vibrating motor, a switch that is attached to the housing, a pair of u-shape pole rubber attachments that are used to attach the housing to the fishing pole, and a hook and loop system that is used to attach the housing to the fishing pole.
Fishing rod with suspension system and method for using same
A fishing rod that has an adjustable force transfer portion that alters the transfer of forces from the distal section to the proximal section of the fishing rod. The fishing rod may be modular, and the adjustable force transfer portion may be located in any one or more sections of the rod.
FISHING ROD WITH SUSPENSION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USING SAME
An adjustable force transfer portion of a fishing rod that alters the transfer of forces from the distal section to the proximal section of the fishing rod when fighting a fish. The fishing rod may be modular, and the adjustable force transfer portion may be located in any one or more sections of the rod.
FISHING DEVICE WITH HOOK KEEPING FEATURES
A fishing device with hook storage is provided for use in association with the performance of fishing and other similar activities, and more particularly, to a rod-mountable fishing device configured as a hook keeper exhibiting an integrated aesthetic appearance wherein various features provide for hook storage in multiple configurations.
TETHERING SYSTEM AND COMPONENTS THEREOF
A rod tether apparatus includes an end cap. The end cap includes a first opening at a first end of the end cap, an outer wall extending from the first end to a second end of the end cap in a first direction, a second opening at the second end, an inner wall extending from the second opening towards the first opening in a second direction, a base wall surface extending radially from the inner wall to the outer wall in a third direction transverse to the first direction, and a slot proximate to the first end that extends through the outer wall in a second direction transverse to the first direction and into an interior of the end cap.
TETHERING SYSTEM AND COMPONENTS THEREOF
A magnetic tethering apparatus includes an end cap. The end cap includes an opening at a first end of the end cap, an outer wall extending from the first end to a second end of the end cap in a first direction, a first mounting surface at the second end of the end cap configured to engage with a second mounting surface, an inner wall extending from the second end of the end cap towards the opening in a second direction, and a base wall surface at the first end extending radially from the inner wall to the outer wall in a third direction transverse to the first direction.
