Fishing rod
A fishing rod includes a grip tube 2 on a rear side of a reel seat 1 having a cylindrical shape, and the grip tube 2 is hard. The grip tube 2 includes a first grip portion 20 having a large diameter and forming at a front part of the grip tube 2, a second grip portion 22 having a large diameter and forming at a rear part of the grip tube 2, and a small-diameter portion 21 forming at between the first grip portion 20 and the second grip portion 22. A corner portion 23 is formed at between the first grip portion 20 and the small-diameter portion 21. The small-diameter portion 21 has a concave curved shape decreasing in diameter rearward at the front part of the small-diameter portion 21 which adjacent to the corner portion 23.

A fishing rod includes a grip tube 2 on a rear side of a reel seat 1 having a cylindrical shape, and the grip tube 2 is hard. The grip tube 2 includes a first grip portion 20 having a large diameter and forming at a front part of the grip tube 2, a second grip portion 22 having a large diameter and forming at a rear part of the grip tube 2, and a small-diameter portion 21 forming at between the first grip portion 20 and the second grip portion 22. A corner portion 23 is formed at between the first grip portion 20 and the small-diameter portion 21. The small-diameter portion 21 has a concave curved shape decreasing in diameter rearward at the front part of the small-diameter portion 21 which adjacent to the corner portion 23.

A grip for fishing rod and a fishing rod including the grip that is disposed at a rear end portion of a fishing rod body of an elongated rod shape are disclosed. The grip includes a core body having a cylindrical shape of a predetermined thickness, and a tail end body. The core body is configured to be fitted onto an outside of a core having a cylindrical shape at the rear end portion of the fishing rod body 11. The tail end body is configured to cover a rear end opening of the core body. The core body and the tail end body are integral. The core body has a peripheral wall that has a void portion along a grip axis direction.

Grip having improved nibble conductivity and fishing rod having the grip
One object is to provide a grip having an improved nibble conductivity and a fishing rod having the grip. A grip according to an embodiment of the present invention is, e.g., a grip for a fishing rod. This grip includes a core layer externally mounted on a rod element, and a fiber-reinforced resin layer that covers the outer surface of the core layer. In an embodiment of the present invention, the fiber-reinforced resin layer contacts with an outer surface of the rod element. In an embodiment, the fiber-reinforced resin layer has a smaller damping ratio than the core layer.

One object is to provide a grip having an improved nibble conductivity and a fishing rod having the grip. A grip according to an embodiment of the present invention is, e.g., a grip for a fishing rod. This grip includes a core layer externally mounted on a rod element, and a fiber-reinforced resin layer that covers the outer surface of the core layer. In an embodiment of the present invention, the fiber-reinforced resin layer contacts with an outer surface of the rod element.
