Remotely detectable transportable game and fishing alarm system
An alarm system having a portable body carried controller that wireless communicates with multiple remote base units each having a wireless communications system configured for ultralow power mode operation where the communications system is put in sleep mode greater than one half packet transmission time but no greater than preamble transmission time to conserve battery life. Controller has multiple LED-equipped buttons assigned to corresponding base units during pairing which are respectively activated when the corresponding base unit assigned thereto alarms upon occurrence of a sensor detection event. Pressing the button can turn off the LED alarm, can poll the assigned base unit, and can task the assigned base unit including to operate in flashlight mode where base unit is lit up. A preferred base unit has an enclosure with legs that form reversible pedestals upon which base unit can be placed.
Fish Finding Mount
A bracket for holding a fish finder has a horizontal attachment arm and horizontal attachment arm couples to a trolling motor. The bracket also has an offset bar coupled to the horizontal attachment arm at an angle, an arm integral with an end of the offset bar, the arm extending upward and at the angle, and a holder attached to end of the arm for holding a fish finder.
TERMINAL CONTROL PROGRAM, TERMINAL APPARATUS, AND REEL INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A terminal control program according to the present disclosure causes a terminal apparatus to perform: receiving model information and version information that have been automatically transmitted from a fishing electric reel in response to a first request transmitted according to a user's operation; storing a reel control program of a latest version of the fishing electric reel of a model indicated by the model information; transmitting the reel control program of the latest version to the fishing electric reel, in a case where a version indicated by the received version information does not match the latest version; and changing a screen for setting or displaying reel information to the screen that corresponds to the reel control program of the latest version.
TERMINAL CONTROL PROGRAM, TERMINAL APPARATUS, AND REEL INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A terminal control program according to the present disclosure causes a terminal apparatus to perform: receiving function setting information that has been automatically transmitted from a fishing electric reel in response to a first request transmitted in response to a user's operation; storing the received function setting information; displaying a first setting screen that the user uses to set each function of the fishing electric reel; and transmitting, to the fishing electric reel, information indicating setting of each of the functions that has been set by the user, and causing the information to be stored as the function setting information, and in the displaying of the first setting screen, an operation object is displayed on the first setting screen in a state where each of the functions has been set on the basis of the stored function setting information, the operation object being used to set each of the functions.
Angling system
An angling system is disclosed. The system may include at least one fish bite detector and a fish bite sensor connected to a transmitter or transceiver. The fish bite detector may be configured to transmit a fish bite signal upon the fish bite sensor detecting a fish bite. The system may include at least one camera or at least one shutter actuator. The camera or shutter actuator may include a receiver or transceiver pairable with the transmitter or transceiver of the fish bite detector so as to receive fish bite signals transmitted by each paired fish bite detector. The camera or shutter may be configured to record/actuate upon receiving a fish bite signal.
Handle operation assist device and handle operation assist program
A handle operation assist device includes a handle angular velocity measuring unit, an error calculator and a notification unit. The handle angular velocity measuring unit is configured to measure a handle angular velocity based on an output of a sensor configured to detect an angular velocity corresponding to rotation of a fishing reel handle. The error calculator is configured to calculate an error in the handle angular velocity with respect to a reference angular velocity. The notification unit is configured to carry out notification regarding the error.
Tension measuring system that determine tension on a fishing line
A tension measuring system is configured to determine tension on a fishing line. The tension measuring system includes a scale, joined between a rod and a reel. The reel is joined to the fishing line. The scale further includes a scale housing is rigidly attached to the rod. An internal housing is rigidly attached to the scale housing and connected to the reel with lubricant and ball bearings. A planar beam load cell is joined to the scale housing and the reel; wherein the tension on the fishing line causes deformation of the planar beam load cell. A microcontroller is electrically coupled to the planar beam load cell, a power management controller, and a display. The microcontroller uses planar beam load cell deformation to determine tension on the fishing line.
Automatic Jigging Machines for Fishing
Automatic jigging machines for fishing purposes each feature a stationary base, and a bending beam load cell by that supports a fishing rod in cantilevered fashion from the base and serves as a bite sensor for detecting a hooked fish, and alerting the user via an alarm function. An electric motor driven in cyclically alternating directions causes automatic jigging of the fishing line, whether through motor-driven reel operation, or through motor-driven tilting of the fishing rod about a pivot point by a screw-based drive mechanism. Where a motorized reel on a removable fishing rod is used for jigging purposes, a manual-override switch is included to enable immediate and convenient manual takeover of the reeling in process by simple grabbing of the fishing rod handle.
FISHING ALARM SYSTEM
A fishing alarm system for use with a fishing line which moves when disturbed by a fish utilizes an alarm device and two electrical contacts which are moveable toward and away from one another between an initial condition at which a circuit between the alarm device and a power source is made and a spaced-apart condition at which a circuit between the alarm device and the power source is broken. In addition, the contacts are biased from the spaced-apart condition toward the initial condition so that by inserting a section of the fishing line between the two contacts, the contacts are moved away from one another and held at the spaced-apart condition by the fishing line section positioned between the pair of electrical contacts. Upon removal of the fishing line from between the contacts, the contacts are permitted to return toward the initial condition at which a circuit is made between the alarm device and the power source.
Smart fishing rod device
A smart fishing rod device that fits on the tip of any fishing rod. The line passes through the device, and the device senses tension on the line. A processor in the device is configured to interpret increases in tension as the presence of fish. The device can signal wirelessly to a smart device that there is a fish present. The device can also have one or more LEDs that flashes when a fish is present. The smart device can run an application (APP) that displays or signals the presence of a fish on one or more rods equipped with the device.
