TORCH SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATIC FUEL REPLENISHMENT
A system of automatically refueled liquid fuel burning torches includes a central fuel reservoir and a pump interconnected with the torches by a fuel plumbing system. When the fuel reaches a lower level in the torches, the plumbing system is automatically pressurized by the pump so that the fuel flows through the plumbing system to raise the fuel to a higher level in the local torch reservoirs. The refueling can be controlled by level sensors and valves in the torches. A remotely operated wick seal can exclude air from torch interiors and prevent fuel spills. A central controller and/or local torch controllers can be powered by wires and/or by batteries, which can be recharged by solar power. The controllers can be wirelessly monitored and/or controlled by software running on a remote device. The remote device and software can control a plurality of the systems.
Attachable plug for adding features to a torch system
A plug is attachable to a wall of a torch that is configured to burn a liquid fuel. The plug adds one or more features to the torch, such as a fuel level sensor, a temperature sensor, a tilt sensor, an automatic wick ignitor and/or extinguisher, a wick clamp, a wick advancing mechanism, and/or a global positioning system. The plug includes an electronic controller, and wired and/or wireless electronics configured to provide remote control and/or monitoring of the added features. Power for the plug can be provided by a battery and/or a solar panel. The controller can establish a unique torch identity, thereby enabling a remote computing device to monitor and/or control features of a plurality of torches that each have a plug of the present disclosure attached thereto. The plug can be removably or permanently attached to the torch.
Insecticide fumigator for luring mosquitos by means of ultraviolet light emitting diode
An insecticide fumigator including a chemical cartridge mount on which a chemical cartridge is configured to be mounted, a heater disposed near the chemical cartridge mount and configured to heat the chemical cartridge such that an insecticide in the chemical cartridge is evaporated from a fumigation part of the chemical cartridge, a light source disposed near the fumigation part and configured to emit light having a first wavelength range to attract insects, and a housing provided with the chemical cartridge mount and receiving the heater and the light source, in which the light source includes a UV LED and a substrate on which the UV LED is mounted, and the housing has a light passage hole through which light emitted from the light source passes.
DEVICE FOR DIFFUSING VOLATILE SUBSTANCES
The device for diffusing volatile substances comprises a body (1) impregnated with said volatile substances, with the volatile substances diffusing during the combustion of said body (1), wherein said body (1) comprises a plurality of interwoven threads (2). Furthermore, said interwoven threads (2) may be housed inside a tube (3).
Thanks to this interwoven arrangement of the threads that make up the body, the oxygen between the threads facilitates combustion, without needing to use chemical components that stimulate combustion.
INSECT REPELLENT TORCH CONVERSION KIT ENABLING AUTOMATIC FUEL REPLENISHMENT
A kit for converting an insect repelling torch to enable remote refueling while in operation includes a fuel insert sealed at opposite ends to a fuel pipe and to a wick. This fuel insert is installed within the torch with the wick extending upward into the combustion area, and the fuel pipe extending below the torch. The fuel pipe is connected to the automatic refueling system. In embodiments, the fuel insert can be compressed for insertion through a port into the torch and re-expansion within the torch. Or the fuel insert can be rigid, and can replace a removable fuel canister of the torch. Embodiments can convert previously manufactured torches, and/or can be implemented in the manufacture of new torches otherwise based on conventional designs. Embodiments include fuel level sensors, flame ignitors, fuel valves, local controllers, wireless communication with a remote computing device, batteries, and/or solar cells.
ATTACHABLE PLUG FOR ADDING FEATURES TO AN INSECT REPELLENT TORCH
A plug is attachable to a wall of a torch that is configured to burn a fuel. The plug adds one or more features to the torch, such as a fuel level sensor, a temperature sensor, a tilt sensor, an automatic wick ignitor and/or extinguisher, a wick clamp, a wick advancing mechanism, and/or a global positioning system. The plug includes an electronic controller, and wireless electronics configured to provide remote control and/or monitoring of the added features.
SMOKE PRODUCING TABLET AND METHOF OF USE
A controlled portable combustion composition, comprising a carrier, where the carrier functions as a binder and as a fuel for combustion, an oxidizer, and, an auxiliary agent, where the auxiliary agent is a transitional substance and a flame retardant which renders the composition flameless; and where substantially all of the carrier, the oxidizer, and the auxiliary agent are converted to smoke at the end of said combustion.
Fan With Support For Mosquito Coil
A fan with support for a mosquito coil includes a housing having an open front end and an open rear end. A fan assembly is secured to the open front end of the housing. The fan assembly includes a fan blade, a battery powered fan motor, a blade guard, and a control panel. The open rear end of the housing includes a pair of channels that extend toward the open front end of the housing. The channels are sized to receive and support a mosquito coil within the housing. When the fan is activated via the control panel, air is drawn through the open rear end of the housing, around the mosquito coil, and expelled through the open front end of the housing. In this way, the fan spreads the airborne mosquito coil material to the surrounding area, increasing the effectiveness of the mosquito coil.
CANDLE AND METHOD OF MAKING THEREOF
The present disclosure provides a volatile material dispensing device that includes a container, a wax composition, a wick, and a sleeve having or formed at least in part by a volatile material, for example, a fragrance or pest control material. The sleeve is positioned between the wax composition and the container and configured to be exposed and release volatile material as the wax composition is consumed by the wick via combustion.
