Animal live trap assembly
11523603 · 2022-12-13 ·

An animal live trap assembly includes a housing that has an entry way extending therein. The housing is positionable in an area known to be occupied by small animals such that the entry way is accessible to the small animals. A door is hingedly coupled to the housing and the door is positionable between an open position or a closed position for alternatively opening or closing the entry way. A plate is hingedly positioned within the housing and the small animal stands on the plate when the small animal enters the housing. A release is movably coupled to the door for retaining the door in the open position. The release is urged into an unlocking position when the small animal stands on the plate thereby facilitating the door to be positioned in the closed position to trap the small animal in the housing.

A trap door rodent trap rests on a bucket and including bait for attracting rodents to climb entry ramps reaching up to the trap. Blue colored entries visible to the rodents creates confidence to continue onto the trap. A center trap door opens from the weight of the rodent and the rodent falls into a bucket supporting the trap. Euthanasia of the trapped rodents is delayed to avoid noxious odors preventing trapping additional rodents, and the bucket may contain food and water for sustain the rodents for a period of time before euthanizing.

A mouse trap device for non-lethally trapping mice and other rodents. The mouse trap includes a housing defining an interior volume, wherein the housing can resemble a building, rocket ship, or other decorative structure. The interior volume of the housing is accessed via an opening on a lower end thereof that allows a mouse to fit therethrough. A trapping structure having one or more sidewalls and an open upper end removably covered by a trap door is disposed within the housing, wherein the trapping structure is used to trap the mouse within an interior volume thereof. The mouse trap further includes a pathway and a platform, wherein the pathway leads a mouse to the platform that is disposed adjacent to the trap door. The platform can support bait thereon so as the mouse moves towards the bait, it will be required to step on the trap door and fall therethrough.

An environmentally friendly device for trapping animals comprising a collection container (3) comprising an upper opening (3a), an intermediate supporting frame (4), forming a drop duct (8) and such that it at least partly closes the opening (3a) of said collection container (3), a closing guard (5), which can be superposed on the intermediate supporting frame (4), comprising an inlet (6) and a compartment forming a trapping corridor (7), a trapping mechanism (9) supported by the frame (4) and positioned over the drop duct (8), comprising a rotary surface (10) having a main direction of extension (X) extending along a longitudinal axis (10a) coinciding with the direction of entry into the trapping corridor (7), being designed to close the top of the drop duct (8) and to form the treadable surface of the trapping corridor (7). The trapping mechanism (9) comprises two plates (14a, 14b) connected to each other by the rotary surface (10), which is positioned orthogonally to each of them. Each time it is activated the rotary surface and the two plates (10) complete a 180° rotation about an axis (9a) of symmetry which is transversal to said longitudinal axis (10a) coinciding with the direction of entry into the trapping corridor (7).

Self Resetting Pest Trap
20170265451 · 2017-09-21 ·

A trap for assisting in controlling pest populations, in particular rodent, and especially rats and/or mice, including: a lower housing, and a false floor including a trapdoor, and a ramp, wherein the lower housing has a lower end that sits on the ground and an upper end. The false floor is attached to the upper end of the lower housing. The trap door is triggered to suddenly collapse when the rodent places a sufficient amount of its body weight onto the trapdoor. The ramp leads up from ground level to the false floor so that when in use, a suitable liquid or gas is contained within the lower housing, and a suitable bait is placed on the false floor to attract a rodent and maneuver it onto the trapdoor. The rodent is able to easily climb up to the false floor by way of the ramp, and when the rodent moves towards the bait, and places sufficient weight upon the trapdoor, the trapdoor suddenly collapse under it, thereby causing it to drop into the lower housing, wherein the rodent drown in the liquid or suffocates in the gas.

RODENT TRAP

Provided herein is a trap and related method for catching vermin, especially rats. The trap allows mechanical energy to be stored in an elastic element. This energy can be released momentarily in order to quickly actuate a trapdoor, a cover, from a closed position to an open position, in order to catch a rat thereby.
