Anti-Attack Shock Collar
20230008166 · 2023-01-12 ·

An anti-attack shock collar is a collar for an animal, and comprises an electronics unit; a power supply operable to create a potential difference between a first and a second terminal; at least one flexible strap secured at one position along its length to the electronics unit, having opposing ends which are releasably fastenable to each other to form a closed loop, and comprising first and second electrodes which are exposed or partially exposed on the exterior of the collar and are electrically connected to the first and second terminals of the power supply respectively; and a water sensor configured to detect the presence of water on a portion of the collar and, if water is detected on the portion of the collar, cause the electronics unit to prevent the power supply from being operated to create a potential difference between the first and second electrodes.

Animal Sensing System
20230217903 · 2023-07-13 · ·

Animal sensing systems and methods are described. An animal sensing system can include an input section with an entrance and an output section having at least two output paths each having its own exit. An animal can enter the animal sensing system through the entrance. A sensor within a sensing area of the input section can detect one or more characteristics of the animal, and can communicate the detected characteristic(s) to a central processing unit. The central processing unit can use the received data to classify the animal based on the detected characteristic(s), and then control a directional guide, such as a gate, in the animal sensing system on the basis of the classification, so as to direct the animal within the animal sensing system, such as to allow access to only one of the output paths at a time. The animal may thus be allowed to exit the animal sensing system through only one output path, directing the animal to a desired location based on the classification.

A garment to repel underwater aquatic creatures. A first component for generating a control signal and a second component for receiving the control signal and transmitting an electromagnetic signal responsive thereto, an electromagnetic field created by the electromagnetic signal radiating from the second component into an aquatic area surrounding the garment. A water sensor disposed on the garment for activating the first and second components to transmit the electromagnet signal when the water sensor senses presence of water.

Apparatus and associated methods relate to a pest repelling magnetic field generating device (PRD) having a temperature sensor to detect the temperature of a solenoid coil during operation. The detected temperature to be used to ensure that the PRD operates within an ideal temperature range. Additionally, a fan is oriented within a housing of the PRD to force the flow of air from inside a housing of the PRD to outside a housing the PRD. In an illustrative example, the PRD may shut off if the temperature of the solenoid coil moves outside the ideal temperature range. By operating the PRD within an ideal temperature range, the service life of the PRD may be extended. Further, the fan may mitigate dust collection within the housing of the pest repelling magnetic field generating device.
