Pest Control System
A pest control system for inhibiting and animal from chewing through a soffit includes a structure that has at least one pair of roof planes and a soffit. Each of the at least one pair of roof planes is covered with shingles. A spiked unit is provided. The spiked unit is coupled to the at least one pair of roof planes. Thus, the spiked unit may inhibit an animal from sitting on the at least one pair of roof planes. The spiked unit is positioned below the soffit. Thus, the spiked unit inhibits the animal from chewing through the soffit.

GASTROPOD REPELLENT FILM AND PLANT CULTIVATION METHOD
A gastropod repellent film of the present invention includes at least an inorganic filler layer containing an inorganic filler and a thermoplastic resin. The inorganic filler layer is an outermost layer. The inorganic filler includes calcium carbonate particles. The inorganic filler has a percentage content of greater than 50.0% by mass in the gastropod repellent film. The gastropod repellent film has a density of at least 1.05 g/cm.sup.3 and no greater than 1.25 g/cm.sup.3. A plant cultivation method of the present invention uses the gastropod repellent film.
Animal Sensing System
Animal sensing systems and methods are described. An animal sensing system can include an input section with an entrance and an output section having at least two output paths each having its own exit. An animal can enter the animal sensing system through the entrance. A sensor within a sensing area of the input section can detect one or more characteristics of the animal, and can communicate the detected characteristic(s) to a central processing unit. The central processing unit can use the received data to classify the animal based on the detected characteristic(s), and then control a directional guide, such as a gate, in the animal sensing system on the basis of the classification, so as to direct the animal within the animal sensing system, such as to allow access to only one of the output paths at a time. The animal may thus be allowed to exit the animal sensing system through only one output path, directing the animal to a desired location based on the classification.
Fence stake
A fence stake includes a horizontal rod and a plurality of vertical rods attached to the horizontal rod or integrally formed with the horizontal rod. The plurality of vertical rods includes a set of capped rods and a set of capless rods. The set of capped rods and the set of capless rods alternate along the horizontal rod. Each capped rod includes a body portion, a cap tapering into the body portion, and a tapered end. The tapered end of the capped rod is a sharp end in one implementation. The plurality of vertical rods is perpendicular to the horizontal rod. A plurality of vertical rods includes rods of the same length. The rods are in the shape of a cylinder, a prism, a triangular prism or an oval prism, and made of metal or synthetic materials.
RODENT SCREEN FOR ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for limiting access by rodents to an electrical socket, wire or other element includes a mesh sufficiently sized in width to wrap at least a portion of the electrical element and sufficiently sized in length to extend along at least a portion of the electrical element and a connector for engaging the mesh around the electrical element.

ANTI-VERMIN APPARATUS FOR PROTECTING SUSPENDED LINES
An anti-vermin apparatus for protecting suspended, overhead lines. The apparatus includes a line cover with an elongate junction. Two panels are connected to the junction and depending downwards from it. The panels are angled away from each other. The junction has a line mounting wall disposed towards a line. The wall is in moveable contact with the line and permits side-to-side rocking of the line cover. A ridge is connected to the junction and extends along its length. The ridge is located on the opposite side of the line mounting wall. The panels and the ridge are sized and shaped to balance the line cover on the line so that if a vermin applies force to one or both of the panels, it causes rotation of the line cover on the line a sufficient amount so that the vermin falls.

Systems and methods for controlling iguana infestation
A system and method of controlling iguana infestation is provided. The system and method, being harmless to people and pets, can include a wall barrier, sea barrier, ground barrier, and climbing (tree, piling) barrier. The iguana sea wall barrier prevents iguanas from accessing property from the water. Iguana piling wraps can be included to prohibit access to the property via the dock. Iguana tree guards can be included to prevent iguanas from climbing up into trees.
