LIQUID NITROGEN QUICK-FREEZING PRESERVATION METHOD FOR FRESH BAMBOO SHOOTS
20230043870 · 2023-02-09 ·

A liquid nitrogen quick-freezing preservation method for fresh bamboo shoots. The method includes performing a coating treatment on cuts of fresh bamboo shoots, which reduces the moisture loss through the cuts, slows down the degree of lignification of the bamboo shoots, mitigates color changes at the cuts, inhibits excessively fast reproduction of microorganisms at the cuts and prevents invasion of microorganisms from the cuts, so that a decrease in nutritional value is reduced, the deterioration of the appearance quality of the bamboo shoots is mitigated, and the nutritional value and commodity value of the bamboo shoots are maintained. The method further includes an intermittent ultrasonic treatment on the fresh bamboo shoots, so that coating substances form films on the surfaces of the cuts more easily, preventing the fresh bamboo shoots from being eroded by microorganisms and preventing nutrient substances from being decomposed and utilized by the microorganisms.

Potato Storage

A method of storing potatoes, the method comprising the steps of: iv. providing a plurality of dormant potatoes, wherein the potatoes have been cured after harvesting; v. treating the potatoes with 1-methylcyclopropene, the treatment comprising exposing the potatoes, which are at a first treatment temperature within the range of from 10 to 30° C., to 1-methylcyclopropene; storing the potatoes at a second storage temperature within the range of from greater than 6 to up to 15° C. for a storage period within a potato store, wherein the storage period extends continuously until at least 1 week after initiation of eye movement in at least one of the potatoes, and wherein during the storage period the potatoes are stored in atmospheric air free of an external supply of ethylene sprout suppressant.

Indoor air-conditioning device and container refrigeration device equipped with same

A CA system includes a gas supply device which performs a gas supply operation of supplying nitrogen-enriched air into a container, and a controller which performs the gas supply operation so that the inside air has a desired composition. The controller performs carbon dioxide priority control in which the controller performs the gas supply operation if an oxygen concentration of the inside air is equal to or higher than a ceiling concentration higher than a target oxygen concentration, stops the gas supply operation if a carbon dioxide concentration of the inside air is lowered to a critical concentration lower than a target carbon dioxide concentration, and restarts the gas supply operation if the carbon dioxide concentration of the inside air has reached a restart concentration higher than the target carbon dioxide concentration through breathing of the plants.

Internal air adjustment device

An internal air adjustment device that includes a first composition adjustment unit and a second composition adjustment unit. The first composition adjustment unit separates supply air from external air, the supply air having a composition that differs from a composition of the external air, and supplies the supply air into a transport container. The second composition adjustment unit separates discharge air from internal air, the discharge air having a composition that differs from a composition of the internal air, and discharges the discharge air to outside of the transport container. The internal air adjustment device is capable of properly controlling the composition of the internal air in the transport container.
