A process for producing a dried product, optionally in the form of a flake, the process comprising (a) combining an active ingredient with a carrier, and an optional stabilizer, to create a wet mixture, wherein the active ingredient and carrier are in a ratio of about 1:1 to about 1:250 in the wet mixture; (b) spreading the wet mixture on a belt of a thin film belt dryer with a belt temperature in the range of about 60° C.-92° C.; and (c) drying the mixture to produce a dried product with less than about 7% moisture, optionally about 2-5% moisture, and a water activity of about 0.15 and about 0.65; as well as a dried product that can be produced by the method, and related methods and compositions.

The invention relates to a glucose-containing sweetening mixture, comprising or consisting of glucose and at least one glucose-free sweetener, wherein the sweetening mixture has a sweetness between 3.0 and 5.0, in particular between 3.5 and 4.5. The invention further relates to a food product containing this sweetening mixture.

The present invention abstract describes the steps of a process for the preparation of green tea and the respective end product, wherein, in the initial step of the proposed process, the young leaves (buds) of yerba mate are subjected to steam at between 90 and 100° for a certain time, the moisture is removed from the steaming step, and, after passing through the steam (steaming step) and twisting, the leaves are cooled (cooling step), rolled (1.sup.st rolling), dried for the first time (1.sup.st drying), rolled for the second time (2.sup.nd rolling), dried for the second time (2.sup.nd drying) and separated (segregation step).

Soluble Tea Extract Tablet and Method of Preperation
A sugar-free soluble tea extract tablet and a method for preparing it that includes the steps of providing a sweetener blend, a natural binder, and a tea extract, in a proportion of five grams of sweater blend and one gram of natural binder for every one gram of tea extract. Then, heating the sweetener blend to melt into a liquid at a temperature ranged between 100 to 300 degrees Celsius, adding the tea extract and the natural binder to the melted sweetener blend to form a mixture, stirring the mixture thoroughly and pouring it into molds for cooling. The sweetener blend includes Erythritol and Monkfruit or stevia sweetener, and the natural binder is an organic gum fiber blend such as organic guar gum, organic gum arabic, organic agave fiber, organic rice hulls, or organic agave syrup.
