PROCESS AND DEVICE FOR APPLICATION OF PARTICLES ONTO FROZEN CONFECTIONERY
The invention relates to an apparatus for decorating frozen confectionery on sticks, the apparatus comprising: a coating station for applying coating material onto the frozen confectionery, a particle dispensing station for applying particles onto the coated frozen confectionery, a conveyor for moving the frozen confectionery past the coating station and the particle dispensing station, the conveyor comprising gripping means arranged on the conveyor and having a product attached position and an opened position for gripping and releasing the stick of the frozen confectionery, and the conveyor comprises guides for moving gripping means with the frozen confectionery between a vertical position and a horizontal position. The apparatus further comprises coating removal means for removing coating material on one side of the frozen confectionery, which coating removal means are positioned after the coating station in the direction of the movement of the conveyor, and wherein the particle dispensing station is positioned after the coating removal means, and wherein the gripping means are arranged to hold the frozen confectionery in the horizontal position when passing particle dispensing station. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing decorated frozen confectionery on sticks making use of the apparatus.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A COMESTIBLE
A method of manufacturing a comestible is provided including providing at least one manufacturing instrument configured to contact the comestible. A releasing agent is atomized and expelled from an expelling device. Application of pressure to the releasing agent is unnecessary to achieve the atomizing. The atomized releasing agent is applied to either a surface of the at least one manufacturing instrument configured to contact the comestible or to a surface of the comestible.
ADJUSTABLE BREADING MACHINE AND METHOD OF OPERATION
An adjustable breading machine for applying a coating material onto a food product, the machine includes a frame and a breading chamber enclosure through which the food product travels along the food path to receive a coating material. The adjustable breading machine may also include a hopper fixedly connected to the frame to deliver a coating material into the breading chamber enclosure. At least partially within the breading chamber enclosure is a main conveyor and an outfeed conveyor. In a first mode of operation, the outfeed conveyor lies in the food path and receives food product from the main conveyor. The adjustable breading machine includes a drum assembly operatively disposed above the outfeed conveyor having a rotatable drum for transporting food product and coating material to the outfeed conveyor. The adjustable breading machine also includes a drum adjustment assembly for moving the drum assembly between modes of operation.
Process for applying granular material on an outer side of a food product
Described herein is a process for applying granular material on an outer side of a foodstuff product (P). This process comprises the steps of: providing a mould (102) having a mould cavity (S′) that is delimited, at least partially, by at least one mobile wall (106); positioning the product (P) in the mould cavity by setting the outer side (p1) in a position facing and at a distance from the mobile wall; introducing granular material in the gap (112) comprised between the mobile wall (106) and the outer side of the product; and moving the mobile wall (106) towards the outer side of the product so that it comes to press the granular material against the outer side (p1) of the product (P).
DEVICE FOR FLAVORING LIGHTWEIGHT FOOD PRODUCTS
A food product flavoring apparatus is provided. In some embodiments, the apparatus includes a removable container configured to contain a flavor target, a means for agitating the flavor target, and a housing. The housing is configured to receive the agitated flavor target when the removable container is adjacent the housing such that the container opening is aligned with the housing opening. The apparatus further includes a means for applying a flavoring agent to the agitated flavor target a means for removing substantially all residual flavoring agent from the housing after the flavor target has been flavored. A method of applying a flavoring agent to a flavor target is also provided.
Reduced-scale drum motor roller drive for enlarged-scale drum coating apparatus for food process lines
A reduced-scale drum motor roller drive is combined with a rotating enlarged-scale hard drum on the rotation axis of the hard drum. A source of electric power rotates the drum motor roller which thereby rotates the hard drum for tumbling and/or coating service in an automated and/or mechanized food process lines.
Popcorn seasoning machine
A popcorn seasoning machine is disclosed. The popcorn seasoning machine includes a receptacle having a forced air system. A user then inputs a selected seasoning and popcorn into the device and depresses a control button for injecting air into the interior of the container for mixing popcorn and the seasoning. As a result, the seasoning is evenly distributed on the popcorn to facilitate an enjoyable popcorn eating experience. The device further includes an air pump therein which manually provides are to a vent platform to a top end of the receptable. The top end also includes a hingedly attached dome which seals the top end of the receptacle.

A dusting powder sprinkling apparatus comprises a frame body, a hinge, a hook, and a toggle latch. The frame body presses the entire circumference of a mesh body, excluding the portion provided with through-holes, along the outer peripheral surface side of the mesh body to fix the mesh body to the hopper. The hinge rotatably fixes a first frame side extending along the rotation axis direction of the brush to the outlet of the hopper. The hook is fixed to a second frame side extending along the rotation axis direction of a brush in the frame body. A tip portion of the hook projects from the outer periphery of the frame body. The toggle latch is fixed to the outlet of the hopper facing the hook and is capable of engaging with the tip of the hook.
