Pet Kibble and Method to Make Pet Kibble
A pet kibble containing from about 20 to 35 wt. % total protein, from about 10 to 15 wt. % edible fat, and from about 10 to 15 wt. % edible fiber. About 70 to 100 wt. % of the protein is plant-sourced. About 3 to 10 wt. % of edible fat is a combination of omega-6 and omega-3 oils. The pet kibble is essentially free of gluten, milk products, peanuts, tree nuts and wheat. The pet kibble is made by an extrusion process that includes flash baking the extrudate, wherein the flash baking is done at from about 450 to 525° F. for from about 30 to 50 seconds.
Methods for isolating compounds
The present invention in its broadest aspect relates to a method for reducing glycoalkaloid content and turbidity of an aqueous phase comprising compounds selected from two or more of PA, PI, PPO, LipO, pectin, lipid, glycoalkaloid and phenolic compounds of which at least one compound is selected from PA, PI, LipO and PPO; a) providing an aqueous phase comprising compounds selected from two or more of PA, PI, PPO, LipO, pectin, lipid, glycoalkaloid and phenolic compounds of which at least one compound is selected from PA, PI, LipO and PPO; and b) performing one or more steps to reduce the concentration of solanine in the dry matter of the aqueous phase with at least 15 percent, such as at least 20% such as at least 25% and to achieve an optical density at 620 nm of the remaining aqueous phase of less than 0.7; such as less than 0.5; such as less than 0.3; such as less than 0.2 such as less than 0.1 and thereby obtaining an aqueous phase having reduced glycoalkaloid content and turbidity compared to an untreated aqueous phase.

DOG TREAT COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF PREPARATION
A composition of organic materials includes an organ-based animal meat reduced to a pulp, a binder, and a percentage of liquid to enable creation of a homogeneous mixture with a viscosity similar to a batter upon blending the organic materials together. The mixture is poured into a waffle form and cooked, then cooled, freeze dried, and vacuum sealed into an individual pouch.
Animal feed formed meat composition with prey animal nutriment and process for producing an animal feed formed meat slug with prey animal nutriment
Proposed is a formed meat composition comprising additives, a process for producing a formed meat slug and a combined meat/formed meat slug. It is a disadvantage of established dried formed meat compositions that they require stabilizing desiccants and/or have an unnatural, open-pored fine structure. The novel solution proposed is a formed meat composition which, in addition to prey animal meat, glycerol and salt, merely contains additives in the form of prey animal nutriment. Also proposed is a process for producing a formed meat slug in which a common comminution of meat and additives in a manner modelled on hunting is carried out. Finally proposed is a combined meat/formed meat slug which comprises in its primary constituents only animal meat ingredients and the recited additives. The claimed subject matter provides the particular advantage that, despite additives, a denser, more stable and closed fine structure is achieved.

GRANULATION OF EGG POWDER
The present disclosure is directed to methods of producing egg granules comprising spray drying an egg comprising one or more antibodies to produce a low moisture egg powder; and dry granulating the low moisture egg powder to produce egg granules comprising the one or more antibodies. The present disclosure also relates to egg granule having a diameter in a range of about 0.70 mm to about 5.00 mm, wherein the egg granule comprises one or more antibodies.
EDIBLE ANIMAL CHEWS
The present disclosure relates to edible animal chews. Embodiment disclosed include an edible animal chew and processes for producing an edible animal chew comprising at least two extruded layers, wherein at least one extruded layer comprises: animal skin protein, wherein the animal skin is porcine or bovine, animal fat, wherein the animal fat is porcine or bovine, and soybean protein, wherein there is an air-gap between at least a portion of the at least two extruded layers, and a processes for forming an edible animal chew.

Food compositions and methods for preventing copper-associated hepatopathies
A pet food containing naturally occurring copper that can be used as a prophylactic diet to prevent and/or reduce copper storage disease, dilated cardiomyopathy, adverse gastrointestinal food reactions, and/or food allergies in pets is provided. A method for forming this pet food containing naturally occurring copper includes: providing a formula selected from the group consisting of chicken meal, corn gluten, duck, rabbit, venison, fish, peas, potato, barley, rice, corn, and any combinations thereof; and adding one or more ingredients having a naturally occurring copper source to provide a naturally occurring copper concentration in the pet food composition from about 7.3 ppm to about 25.0 ppm, adjusted for a dry matter basis.
