Wheat with new alleles of Rht-B1
The present invention provides a wheat plant comprising an Rht-B1 allele which encodes an Rht-B1 (DELLA) polypeptide. Grain from a near-isogenic wheat line comprising the dwarfing Rht-B1c allele was subjected to sodium azide mutagenesis. Plants exhibiting early leaf elongation rates or mature plant height greater than the dwarf parent were selected and the Rht-B1 gene sequenced. This identified 35 mutated alleles of Rht-B1c. Similar methods were also used to identify mutant alleles of the dwarfing sln1d allele in barley, where DELLA is encoded by the sln1 gene.
EXPANDED DRY PROTEIN-BASED FOOD PRODUCT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
The invention relates to an expanded dry food product comprising at least the following ingredients: a food-grade plant- or animal-based protein concentrate; a food-grade fat; a food-grade texturising additive selected from the group consisting of plant-based hydrocolloids and gelling agents, starch, preferably modified starch, proteolytic additives and hydrolysis products thereof, and acidifying agents and salts thereof; and residual water. The invention also relates to a method for producing said expanded dry food product from a thermally expandable precursor.

VARIEGATOR
A variegator and a process for using it. The variegator permits the manufacturer to obtain desirable patterns of distribution of sauce and chunks in frozen confections while at the same time permitting fast cleaning-in-place times to minimize factory downtime. The variegator comprises a) one or more conduits, each suitable for feeding a base frozen confection to a first opening or set of openings into a chamber, b) one or more conduits suitable for feeding a fluid variegating material such as a sauce through a second openings or set of openings at a level below the first set into the chamber below the base frozen confection opening, and c) a static mixer below the variegating material opening, the static mixer comprising at least two baffles.
Reduced sodium food products
Naturally-derived compounds having various structures elicit the perception of salty taste or enhance the perception of salty taste of a salt. Food products may include such salty compounds, which may be used to reduce the sodium content, while parting a similar level of saltiness.

Enhanced expression of RNA vectors
The present invention relates to methods and compositions for enhancing expression from RNA expression vectores. The invention is based upon the observation that reducing the frequency of the dinucleotide CpG and UpA has a significant effect on expression from such vectores. Aspects of the invention include, amongst others, synthetic RNA vectores, virions, cells, methods of producing vaccines and methods of treatment or immunisation.

Hard Taco Shell and Method for Producing the Hard Taco Shell
A taco shell is produced by applying a plasticizing agent to a base or spine portion of a hard taco shell, such as by targeted spraying, rolling, brushing or dipping of the taco shells, thereby softening the base or spine portion, preferably across a strip width between 4 mm-20 mm. As a result, when the taco shell is bitten, the softened base portion has some hinging flexibility or pliability which reduces the potential for any crack propagation. Therefore, the structural integrity of the hard taco shell can be better maintained while be eaten, resulting in retention of the fillings and less mess. If desired, an anti-migration agent can also be applied to assure containment of the plasticizing agent in the targeted region.
Cereal Compositions Containing Human Milk Oligosaccharides
Disclosed is a cereal composition which can be prepared instantly with the addition of a liquid, containing at least one human milk oligosaccharide (HMO), and other components which are necessary for the healthy growth and development of a young 5 individual.
