A face and neck cover includes a fabric tube having an inner surface and a droplet filter attached to the inner surface. The droplet filter includes a first filter layer, a second filter layer joined to the first filter layer along a first fold, and a third filter layer joined to the first filter layer along a second fold. The third filter layer is in contact with the inner surface of the fabric tube. A first filter pocket for holding an optional removable filter medium is formed between the second filter layer and the third filter layer. A second filter pocket is formed between the third filter layer and the inner surface of the fabric tube. The first, second, and third filter layers are preferably integrally formed from one continuous sheet of fabric folded and attached to the fabric tube.

The removable mouth panel is suitable for allowing quick access to the user's mouth to, for example, eat and/or drink without needing to remove the entire body of the mask. Further, the user's nostrils remain secured and protected beneath the remainder of the mask. The mouth panel may also be completely disconnected from the main body of the face mask to allow a user to eat and/or drink. Alternatively, the mouth panel may be partially disconnected from the mask by being rotated to the left, to the right, or upward to allow a user to eat and/or drink.

They are essentially the same construction that creates a barrier that may protect the wearer from having objects such as embers, bullet casings, small projectiles fall into their outer garment unto their skin, as well as cold, heat, and UV rays. When extending the turtleneck portion from the folded position, over the wearer's mouth and nose, Version 3 has a filter affixed to the front of the turtleneck and provides protection from inhalable particulates of toxic material such as sand, dust, ash, smoke particles, air pollution, and construction site materials and can also function as a method to conceal the identity of the individual.

The present invention relates to active respiratory protective face shield systems. More specifically, the present invention is directed to face shield systems comprising a substantially transparent lens having an upper visual chamber and a lower breathing chamber. The protective face shield systems have a generally open design so to not substantially contact the user's face. The lens configured to cover at least the user's nose and mouth. An input filter system module provides a positive pressure environment to a breathing chamber by the delivery of filtered air. The positive pressure is of sufficient magnitude so to produce an air barrier for substantially preventing environmental contamination, e.g., particulate matter, microorganisms, and the like, from entering the breathing chamber. Alternate embodiments further include an output filter system module for the evacuation and substantial filtration of the user's exhalation air to surrounding environment.

MASK APPARATUS

A mask apparatus includes a mask body including a rear body and a front body coupled to a front surface of the rear body and providing an inlet and an outlet, a face guard coupled to the rear body and defining a respiration space, and an air cleaning module purifying air introduced into the inlet and supplying the purified air to the respiration space. A portion of the rear body defines an accommodation portion accommodating the air cleaning module. The air cleaning module includes a fan module disposed at a seating portion of the accommodation portion, a filter disposed at a rear side of the fan module and purifying air flowing into the fan module, and a filter housing including a filter frame surrounding a side surface of the filter and a filter cover covering a rear surface of the filter. The inlet is provided at the filter cover.
