ADHESIVE FACIAL MASK
A facial mask for covering at least a part of a face of a user having at least one filter layer configured to filter air passing through the facial mask and having an outer surface being directed towards a skin of the user and an inner surface arranged opposite to the outer surface of the at least one filter layer. The mask further comprises an at least partly elastic carrier layer with an inner surface, which is directed towards the inner surface of the at least one filter layer, and an outer surface arranged opposite to the inner surface of the carrier layer. A size of the carrier layer is larger than a size of the at least one filter layer, such that a fixing portion of the carrier layer surrounds the at least one filter layer along at least a part of a perimeter of the at least one filter layer.
Mask with adhesive and method of making the same
This disclosure relates to a mask which delivers pressurized airflow to a patient. The mask includes a central portion and a wing projecting from the central portion. The wing is configured to adhere to a patient's cheek.
FACE MASK
This invention relates to a face mask (100, 200, 300) comprising a central area (40), comprising a fabric material (45), an elastic area (20), extending laterally at least partially from the central area (40) and comprising an elastic material (15), and being connected to the central area (40) at an interface section (30). Further, the elastic area (20) comprises an adhesive (11) provided on a bottom surface (12) of the elastic material (15) along at least a portion of a periphery of the face mask (100, 200, 300), forming an adhesive sealing profile (10). A space between the intersection section (30) and the sealing profile (10) comprising the elastic material (15) is an intermediate elastic area (25).
STRAPLESS FACE MASK
Embodiments for a strapless facemask are disclosed. In a non-limiting embodiment, the strapless facemask includes a mask body made of a filtering material having an inner, skin-facing surface and an outer surface. A flexible stalk is provided having an end attached to the mask body and another end attached to an adhesive pad. The stalk is disposed along a peripheral portion of the mask body to extend in a first direction away from the inner surface of the mask body. The adhesive pad may have a width greater than a width of the stalk in a direction perpendicular to the first direction.
APPARATUS WITH MULTIPURPOSE PRESSURE SENSITIVE MATERIAL AND METHOD OF LEAK IDENTIFICATION
An apparatus with multipurpose pressure sensitive materials, includes an outer part and a pressure sensitive material. The sensitive material is configured to change colors according to contact state between the outer part with an object and/or according to the outer part itself.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS ASSOCIATED WITH CONTROLLING AIR FLOW WITHIN A MASK
A mask with a seal along an upper portion of a mask to divert air flow along a lateral axis of the mask.
Facemask Assemblies
In some embodiments, a facemask assembly can include a strap system, a facial skirt, a filter assembly, a filter material, mounting bracket, front section, a tilt mechanism, and/or a seal-tester. In some embodiments, the facial skirt has at least two seal-layers. In some embodiments, the strap system has a crown section.
Facial mask with adhesive-backed filters in separate nasal portion and oral portion
A two-part mask, having a nasal portion and an oral portion, can include adhesive to secure the nasal portion to the wearer's face. The adhesive might surround the nose to form a leakproof seal. An oral portion covering the wearer's mouth might include adhesive surrounding the mouth portion. Each mask portion could be worn separately. The nasal portion might be made from a filter material. The portions might be made in part from filter material and in part from transparent material. The transparent material might be positioned to allow for external viewing of the wearer's lip movements. The portions could be customizable to provide an anatomical fit for each individual wearer. The portions might be shaped to form a balloon shape, which can allow for movement of a mask portion from an extended position when the wearer is exhaling to a contracted position when the wearer is inhaling.
Respirator Including Polymeric Netting And Method of Forming Same
One or more embodiments of a respirator that includes a polymeric netting is disclosed. The respirator can include a mask body including a perimeter, a harness attached to the mask body, and a face seal disposed adjacent at least a portion of the perimeter of the mask body. In one or more embodiments, the face seal includes a polymeric netting including polymeric ribbons and polymeric strands, where each of the polymeric ribbons and strands having a length, width, and height, where the length is the longest dimension, the width is the shortest dimension, and the height is the dimension transverse to the length and the width. The polymeric ribbons have a height-to-width aspect ratio of at least 5 to 1, a major surface that is intermittently bonded to only one polymeric strand, and a height that is at least two times greater than a height of the one polymeric strand.
