Face mask including a mask body, lining around an edge of the mask body, and a nose strip, wherein the complete face mask including the mask body, the lining, and the nose strip is made of a single recyclable material, such as PET. The face mask can be ground directly for recycling without first separating the parts of the face mask.

Face and neck cover with droplet filter
11576457 · 2023-02-14 ·

A face and neck cover includes a fabric tube having an inner surface and a droplet filter attached to the inner surface. The droplet filter includes a first filter layer, a second filter layer joined to the first filter layer along a first fold, and a third filter layer joined to the first filter layer along a second fold. The third filter layer is in contact with the inner surface of the fabric tube. A first filter pocket for holding an optional removable filter medium is formed between the second filter layer and the third filter layer. A second filter pocket is formed between the third filter layer and the inner surface of the fabric tube. The first, second, and third filter layers are preferably integrally formed from one continuous sheet of fabric folded and attached to the fabric tube.

MASK

A mask for covering at least a nostril and a mouth of a wearer. The mask includes a main body portion and an ear hooking portion attached to the main body portion. At least a part of the main body portion has a sheet-like piezoelectric portion, and the piezoelectric portion includes a yarn formed of an electric field forming filament.

Corona disinfecting air filter systems

The present disclosure relates generally to air filtration devices. More specifically, but not exclusively, the present disclosure relates to an air filtration device comprised of a copper (or copper alloy) medium to inactivate airborne pathogens (e.g., viruses, bacteria, coronaviruses, COVID-19, etc.) and mitigate harmful exposure to said pathogens. The copper medium is a porous mesh (i.e., copper wool) that is positioned within or on a structure to provide support. The air filtration device may be positioned in an HVAC system such that an air stream flows through the copper medium to inactivate airborne pathogens, such as viruses, in the air stream. The air filtration device may be used in combination with, or in addition to, existing HVAC system conventional air filters (e.g., HEPA filters). The air filtration device includes a copper medium positioned on a face mask to inactivate airborne pathogens during respiratory processes.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

The present invention relates to anti-microbial, antiviral, fibers, and fabrics and to devices made from said fabrics. The invention has particular utility in connection with personal protective equipment (PPE’s) such as surgical masks and respirators, and will be described in connection with such utilities, although other utilities are contemplated, including, for example for forming air handling filters for people movers, i.e., automobiles, trucks, buses, trains, ships and planes, as well as for forming filters for air handling equipment for buildings.

ARTICLE WITH PATHOGEN INHIBITING TREATMENT
20230233722 · 2023-07-27 ·

A substrate with a pathogen inhibiting treatment. The substrate comprising a first coating of an inorganic material. The inorganic material being applied to the substrate via a vapour deposition process. A second coating applied at an upper surface of the first coating, and wherein the second coating is at least one of a protective coating for the first coating and a functional coating.

SURFACE COATING COMPRISING MICROFIBRILLATED CELLULOSE OR NANOCELLULOSE

Articles comprising a surface or porous substrate and having on said surface or porous substrate a coating comprising microfibrillated cellulose or nanocellulose, methods of applying a coating comprising microfibrillated cellulose or nanocellulose to a surface or porous substrate, compositions comprising microfibrillated cellulose or nanocellulose, and the use of such compositions in methods of preparing an antimicrobial surface coating, and improving filtration efficiency and preparing an antimicrobial surface and/or antiviral surface coating.

ANTIVIRAL MASK AND ANTIVIRAL FILTER MADE FROM A BREATHABLE MICROPOROUS POLYMERIC MEMBRANE

An antiviral mask and antiviral filter include a thin breathable, microporous polymeric membrane. That membrane may include a plurality of pores functionalized with a proteolytic enzyme, an antibody or a combination thereof. The antiviral mask and antiviral filter may also include a coating of graphene oxide, lignin sulfonate or a combination thereof and/or a fluorescent virus tagging agent.

Face Mask Assembly
20230218021 · 2023-07-13 ·

A face mask assembly includes a mask that is wearable on a user’s face to protect the user from inhaling airborne pathogens. A nose strip is integrated into the face mask and the nose strip is comprised of a bendable material to conform to contours of the user’s face when the mask is worn. A scent patch is coupled to the mask and the scent patch is infused with a chemical scent thereby enhancing an odor of the mask. An antibacterial patch is coupled to the mask and the antibacterial patch is infused with a chemical disinfectant. The antibacterial patch releases the chemical disinfectant into air being inhaled by the user when the mask is worn thereby reducing airborne pathogen exposure for the user.

RESPIRATORY MASK AND METHOD OF PRODUCTION

A respiratory mask including a mask fabric body (1), and one or more holding straps (3) for holding the mask body to the face of a user, the mask body being made of a woven fabric having weft yarns and warp yarns, the weft and warp yarns having a count comprised between 10 and 1100 den, the warp density being between 14-130 warps/cm, the weft density being between 12-70 wefts/cm, wherein at least part of the body is provided with a liquid-repellent crosslinked polymer.
