A non-gender specific article of clothing worn on the upper body of a human that is reversible, comprised in part of eco-friendly material, and has hidden compartments designed for the secure storage of medical devices or personal items. The article is comprised of two layers of partially recycled fabric that are affixed in a manner that allows either side of the garment to be worn facing outward or in direct contact with the body. The layers are affixed at specific attachment points and by seams that create portions in between the layers that may be accessed from any location across the top perimeter edges of the garment including the neckline and armholes. The portions are engineered to limit movement of items stowed as well as permit transfer of items from one portion to another without removing the items from the article of clothing.

Aspects herein provide methods of transforming a stowable article of apparel for an upper torso of a wearer. The article of apparel comprises a first tensioning mechanism superior to and parallel with a waist opening, and a second tensioning mechanism coincident with the waist opening and spaced apart from the first tensioning mechanism. An upper half of the article of apparel is doffed. The waist opening is folded upward toward the first tensioning mechanism forming a pouch between the first and second tensioning mechanisms where the upper half of the article of apparel is stowed. The second tensioning mechanism is tensioned, thereby stowing the article of apparel in the pouch around the wearer.

Disclosed herein is a reversible neckline shapewear garment that can be worn forwards or backwards, depending on the wearer's preference. The reversible shapewear garment described herein includes two necklines, wherein the first neckline may extend under the wearer's breasts and the second neckline may extend across or above the wearer's breasts. Advantageously, this reversible garment may be worn backwards or forwards by the wearer while contouring to the natural body without creating visible lines or bulges of fabric or losing shape. Also disclosed herein are methods of assembling and wearing the reversible neckline shapewear garment.

A garment may include a waist portion having a fabric portion; a circumferential tightening device configured to tighten the waist portion, the circumferential tightening device including a first reversible tab and a second reversible tab spaced from each other along a circumferential direction, each tab attached to surface of the fabric portion at a proximal end of the reversible tab; each of the fabric portions having a fabric aperture formed therein and configured to allow the distal end of the corresponding tab to be inserted into the corresponding fabric apertures.

A top edge of the inner layer may be attached to an inside surface of the outer layer along a first horizontal perimeter. The front and rear face may border along a vertical perimeter. The configurable shirt may further include an attachment perimeter along a second horizontal perimeter. A bottom edge of the outer layer may include an attachment mechanism. The configurable shirt may include a first and second position. In the first position, the attachment mechanism may be attached to the attachment perimeter. Article of clothing to wear on the top part of the body to cover at least the shoulders, torso and back, which comprises two opposite panels, with the same shape and size and joined together overlapping along all the respective facing perimeter edges, except for at least a lower segment that is not joined, which defines a lower opening in order to put the article of clothing at least on the torso, shoulders and back, and an upper segment, not joined, which defines an upper opening for the head to go through, and possibly one or more lateral segments, not joined, which define respective one or more lateral openings for the arms to go through.

The garments feature a neutral body and a vibrant upper which, when worn, draw the viewer's eye towards the vibrant color. The vibrant upper acts as a team identifier.

Aspects herein provide for a garment and a garment system for an upper-body that is easily donned and doffed by a wearer, and may be stowed about the wearer during activity. Some exemplary aspects comprise a first and second closure mechanism on an upper part of a torso portion that may be used to facilitate easy donning and doffing. In some exemplary aspects, the garment and garment system provide for one or more tensioning mechanisms that may be used to facilitate stowing. In some exemplary aspects, the garment and garment system comprise one or more pockets that may have openings on an interior aspect and/or an exterior aspect to allow access to the pocket when the article is fully donned or when in a stowed state.

A modular and reversible clothing article with replaceable and interchangeable panels or parts that allows the article to have one color, design, pattern or texture on one side and another color or pattern on the other side and to mix and match the panels or parts to have the same or different color, design, pattern or texture in the front and the back of the clothing article. The wearer may change the appearance of the clothing article on a daily basis, as needed or desired, increasing the usable lifespan and utility of any clothing article several fold.
