HOOD WITH CAP-SECURING SYSTEM
A piece of apparel comprises a hooded garment, a cap having a front, and a securing system associated with the hood of the hooded garment. The securing system comprises a band that contacts the front of the cap and secures the cap to a wearer's head when the hood is up and that secures the cap within the hood with the hood is down. The band extends from one side of the interior of the hood, across the front of the cap and to the other side of the interior of the hood. The band can comprise an elastic portion so that the band compresses the front of the cap when in use.
THERMALLY INSULATING FLOATING LINER
An article of apparel is comprised of an outer fabric shell defining a body portion and arm portions. The body portion has a back panel section and one or two front panel sections. A thermally insulating liner is secured to the back panel section and the one or two front panel sections by tack fasteners which may form permanent or detachable connections and these connections are positioned at predetermined locations along peripheral edges of the liner. The connections provide for the liner to have large un-attached peripheral areas to provide free floating displacement of the liner with respect to the outer fabric shell when worn by a wearer person to reduce restraint of movement of the wearer person's arms and body by the outer shell and liner and thereby enhancing the wearer person's freedom of movement. In a further embodiment the tack fasteners are detachable wherein the liner can be worn as a sleeveless insulating vest and wherein the vest is provided with adjustable tie means about its arm holes, neck and bottom openings to provide sealing thereof against a wearer person's body to maintain body heat.
CONVERTIBLE GARMENT
A convertible garment may be converted between a top configuration for covering the torso of a person and bottom configuration for covering the lower half of the person, and vice-versa. The garment has in the top configuration a removable front panel having a right side having a first elongate fastener half extending along the right side and a left side having a second elongate fastener half extending along the left side. Preferably, the bottom configuration has a front portion, a back portion, a right side having a third elongate fastener and a left side having a fourth elongate fastener. The front and the back portions of the bottom configuration form the back of the top configuration when the third and fourth fasteners are at least partially undone. Methods of converting between the two configurations are also disclosed.
Merchandise With Flexible Display and Detachable Component
A garment system is provided, including: a main component configured to be worn by a user, the main component having a flexible display portion and a sensor; a detachable component configured to be detachably coupled to the main component; wherein the sensor detects when the detachable component is attached to, or detached from, the main component, and responsively triggers a change in imagery presented on the flexible display portion in response to said attachment or detachment of the detachable component.
Headwear with Storable Accessory
Headwear includes a storage region formed in a headwear portion with the storage region having an opening. An accessory is configured to cover a portion of a wearer's face and includes first and second opposing ends. The first end of the accessory is manually removable from the storage region through the opening. A retainer is attached to the second end of the accessory for limiting movement of the accessory within the storage region. The retainer locks the second end of the accessory within the storage region.
GARMENT WITH INSULATED CONTAINER
A garment, comprising: a torso portion adapted to extend around at least a portion of a wearer's torso and having a hood, two sleeve portions and having a concealed pocket, wherein the torso portion having a first opening providing access to the pocket, and wherein the first opening has a reusable closing mechanism; and an insulated deformable container, wherein the insulated deformable container fits within the concealed pocket.
HOODED GARMENT WITH INSECT OR BUG MESH
The invention relates particularly to the addition of a mosquito mesh sewn as a lining inside the hooded section of clothing, which will provide an option to cover the face portion of the hoodie, jacket or hooded clothing. A fastener is attached to the free edge of the mesh to removably secure the free edge to a rear portion of the hood.
METHOD OF THREADING AN ELONGATED CORD THROUGH AN ELONGATE INTERNAL PASSAGEWAY OF A WEARABLE ARTICLE
A threading instrument for sliding an elongated cord or drawstring through an elongated internal passageway of a wearable article, and a method of using the same is provided. The present invention incorporates the threading instrument in a kit along with a plurality of different design drawstrings. In the kit, each drawstring is adapted to be threaded through the elongated internal passageway by way of the threading instrument. The kit enables a user to more efficiently than the prior art to interchange the drawstrings through the elongated internal passageway of the wearable article, thereby enabling an expeditious and selectively swap out of the drawstring, whereby they can use the different drawstrings to convey different messages/moods when desired.
GARMENT FOR PATIENTS RECEIVING TREATMENT
A garment for patients receiving medical treatment is disclosed. The garment has a sleeve that has an outer surface and an inner surface each made of a first material, a fastener coupled to the sleeve and configured to open and close the sleeve, an inner lining attached to the inner surface of the sleeve. The inner lining is made of a second material that has a higher elasticity than the first material. The garment has a series of pockets disposed on the inner lining configured to hold a heating element to keep the patient's arms warm while in the treatment position.

An insulated garment for covering an upper body of a patient comprising: an article of clothing having a neck opening, a first sleeve opening, a second sleeve opening, a lower opening, wherein a hood is attached to the neck opening and a first and a second resealable clasp are incorporated into the article of clothing distal to the neck opening; a first sleeve having a first end and second end and is attached to the first sleeve opening of the vest at the first end, wherein a third resealable clasp is integrated into the first opening of the first sleeve and the resealable clasp permits the formation of more than one opening; and a second sleeve, wherein a fourth resealable clasp is integrated into the second opening of the second sleeve and the resealable clasp permits the formation of more than one opening.
