20230232923 · 2023-07-27 ·

A garment includes: a first garment-region, that is formed of cotton and/or polyester, wherein the first garment-region has a first level of drying capability; and a second garment-region, that is formed of fast-drying yarns that include at least 75% cotton, wherein the second garment-region has a second level of drying capability. The second level of drying capability is greater than the first level of drying capability. A squared-centimeter of the first garment-region, being wet by absorbing N milliliters of water, becomes dry within T1 seconds; whereas, a squared-centimeter of the second garment-region, being wet by absorbing N milliliters of water, becomes dry within T2 seconds; wherein N is a pre-defined positive number; wherein T2 is smaller than T1.

Method for producing a prophylactic article

The invention relates to a method for the manufacture of a prophylactic article, especially of a glove, from a (carboxylated) diene rubber, according to which a layer of a (carboxylated) diene latex is applied on a former and the (carboxylated) diene latex is cross-linked with a cross-linking agent, which is immobilized on inorganic and/or organic particles with formation of modified particles, and the modified particles are added to the (carboxylated) diene latex.

Garment incorporating waterproof or water resilient aqueous polyurethane dispersions and/or having altered stress profile

Articles, such as garments, including films comprising dried aqueous polyurethane dispersions are disclosed, whereby the garment has an altered stress which is exhibited during wear of the garment and/or has one or more sections of waterproof or water-resilient fabric. The film may be bonded to the fabric of the article to provide a fabric or film laminate.

Methods of assembling apparel products having cyclodextrin-azobenzene adhesives

Embodiments provide methods of assembling an apparel product. The methods include applying a composition to a portion of a major component of the apparel product or a portion of a minor component of the apparel product. The methods include coupling the portion of the minor component with the portion of the major component via the composition. The major component forms a base portion of the apparel product and is configured to be supported and worn at least partially over a portion of a wearer. The minor component forms a secondary portion that is configured to be coupled to the major component with an adhesive. The composition is cured to form the adhesive and the apparel product. The adhesive includes a polymer having a cyclodextrin moiety bonded to an azobenzene moiety.

ECO-FRIENDLY WEARABLE DIPPED ARTICLE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING

The present invention generally relates to an eco-friendly wearable article comprising a nutrient complex capable of efficiently able to reduce or eliminate methane gas emission during biodegradation of the article, and a method of making the eco-friendly wearable article containing the nutrient complex. Preferably, the nutrient complex typically comprises anionic sulphate ions and cationic salts of iron(II) and copper(II), thereby facilitating methane oxidation in an anaerobic environment such as a landfill.

Composition for dip molding

A glove including a cured film of an elastomer containing a (meth)acrylonitrile-derived structural unit, an unsaturated carboxylic acid-derived structural unit and a butadiene-derived structural unit in a polymer main chain, wherein the elastomer contains 20 to 40% by weight of a (meth)acrylonitrile-derived structural unit, 1 to 10% by weight of an unsaturated carboxylic acid-derived structural unit and 50 to 75% by weight of a butadiene-derived structural unit, and has a crosslinked structure of a carboxyl group in the unsaturated carboxylic acid-derived structural unit with an epoxy crosslinker containing an epoxy compound having three or more epoxy groups in one molecule.

ELASTOMERIC RUBBER GLOVES WITH IMPROVED SKIN HYDRATION CHARACTERISTICS

According to various embodiments, a glove is provided with improved hydration characteristics and low dermatitis potential. The glove comprises a substrate and a polymer system that coats a surface of the substrate. The polymer system comprises: a polyol, a botanical extract, an emollient agent, a silicone copolymer dispersion, a lubricant, and a surfactant. The substrate may be free of sulphur and accelerators. An example formulation of the polymer system may comprise glycerol, Aloe vera, a carnauba wax dispersion, dimethicone, a polyalkylene glycol (PAG), and polyoxyethylene (20) sorbitan monooleate. The polymer system may be applied to the\surface of the substrate by dipping the surface into a water-based dispersion of the polymer system, or spraying the water-based dispersion onto the interior surface. The polymer system may be blended into water at a total solids content of 0.8% to 1.2% w/w to form the water-based dispersion.
