PRESSURE-DISTRIBUTING UNDERGARMENT

This invention relates to undergarments for use in active environments, where the wearer of such an undergarment is engaged in an activity that results in accelerating movements. In some preferred embodiments, these undergarments may be athletic or sports bras that redirect momentum related to a wearer's accelerating movements, for example, during exercise.

Limited conduction heat reflecting materials

Disclosed are insulating materials, and in particular materials that offer improved insulation properties without compromising breathability. The insulating materials may include a base material having a moisture vapor transfer rate (MVTR) of at least 2000 g/m.sup.2/24 h (JIS 1099 A1); a plurality of heat-reflecting elements coupled to a first side of the base material, each heat-reflecting element having a heat-reflecting surface and being positioned to reflect heat towards an underlying surface; and a plurality of spacer elements coupled to the first side of the base material, each spacer element sized and shaped to reduce contact of the heat-reflecting elements with the underlying surface.

POWER MESH PANELS FOR TUMMY-COVERING GARMENTS
20220338563 · 2022-10-27 ·

Mesh fabric panels that provide a compressive force to a wearer's mid-section and tummy-covering garments equipped with the mesh fabric panels are disclosed. The mesh fabric panels can be formed of a material having a suitable rigidity for providing the compressive force. The mesh fabric panels include left and right panels adapted to be stitched or otherwise affixed to left and right front sections, respectively, of a garment such as a pant, a dress, a skirt, shorts, swimwear, or the like. Each of the left and right mesh fabric panels includes a seam side edge adapted to be affixed to a corresponding seam side of a tummy-covering garment, a fly side edge adapted to be affixed to a fly facing of the garment, a waist edge, and a bottom edge. The left and/or right mesh fabric panel may be a dual layer panel.

Lyocell filament lining fabric

A lining fabric (3) for a clothing article (1). The lining fabric (3) is hygroscopic to ensure good wearing comfort, and has sufficient dimensional stability to allow washing in a household laundry machine. The lining fabric (3) is made from yarns (6) containing or consisting of Lyocell filaments (7). The Lyocell filaments (7) have an average linear density of less than 1.5 dtex, preferably less than 1.4 dtex and even more preferred, less than 1.3 dtex. The washing shrinkage after five washings is preferably less than 4% in each of two perpendicular directions.
