Interactive object having light-transmissive pattern with controlled hole-shape
Systems and methods for interactive objects including illuminated surfaces are provided. An interactive object includes a flexible substrate comprising a soft material that is non-transmissive to light. The interactive object includes a plurality of holes extending from an inside surface of the flexible substrate to an outside surface of the flexible substrate to form a light-transmissive pattern at one or more locations of the flexible substrate. An illuminated surface is positioned adjacent to the inside surface of the flexible substrate with its front surface extending along at least a portion of the inside surface of the flexible substrate at the one or more locations including the plurality of holes. The interactive object includes one or more electronic components electrically coupled to the illuminated surface to control the illuminated surface to provide a visual output.
Fabric and article with led embedded therein and the related production process
It is disclosed a fabric (10) comprising a main layer (1), at least one LED (2) and a supporting element (3), wherein said at least one LED (2) is arranged on a coupling surface (3a) of said supporting element (3), and wherein said coupling surface (3a) is coupled to the inner surface (1a) of said main layer (1), said supporting element (3) comprising a plurality of electrical connections (4) to electrically connect said at least one LED (2) to a logic control unit (6) configured to control said at least one LED (2) in function of a sensing signal coming from a sensing device (7), said main layer (1) being provided with at least one opening (5) arranged in correspondence of said at least one LED (2) for allowing the light emitted by said at least one LED (2) to pass therethrough. It is further disclosed an article comprising the above mentioned fabric (10) and a process for producing the fabric (10).
Costume wing using synthetic feather forms
A wing costume article of manufacture has a semi-rigid support structure formed in a symmetrical shape emulating a shape of a set of wings, a fabric liner formed over the semi-rigid support structure, a plurality of synthetic feathers cut from synthetic foam sheet material, the synthetic feathers cut in a variety of lengths and widths, each with a first end and a second end, the second ends fastened to the fabric liner in a manner to present the plurality of feathers outward simulating a set of natural wings, and a harness interface configured to engage the wing costume by the semi-rigid support structure to the upper back of a wearer, presenting the wing costume as the set of wings.
COMPONENT FOR ESTABLISHING ELECTRICAL CONTACT BETWEEN AT LEAST ONE FUNCTIONAL ELEMENT AND A TEXTILE OR THE LIKE AND ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A COMPONENT
A component for establishing electrical contact between at least one functional element and a textile or the like. The component includes a main body, which accommodates at least one electrical component and/or one functional element, and includes connection elements for establishing electrical contact with electrically conductive regions of the textile or the like.
Knee gear
A knee gear for protecting a knee from external impacts and illuminating a path of a user. the knee gear can be wrapped around the knee using straps. The knee gear includes one or more lights to couple to a cover member or an elongated pad of the knee gear.
Human body simulation model, fitting device, fitting server and control method
The present disclosure discloses a human body simulation model, a fitting device, a fitting server, and a control method. The human body simulation model includes: a human body model; a photodeformable shaping garment; a plurality of excitation light sources; a plurality of elastic elements; and a first controller configured to control at least a part of the plurality of excitation light sources to emit light waves to the photodeformable shaping garment according to body shape parameters of a user received, so that the photodeformable shaping garment is deformed to simulate a body shape of the user.
Textile component and method for producing a textile component
The invention relates to an embodiment in which the textile component comprises at least one flexible thread that can be woven. A plurality of semiconductor columns are attached in or on the thread and are configured to generate radiation. Furthermore, a plurality of electrical lines are located in or on the thread, by means of which lines the semiconductor columns are electrically contacted. An average height (H) of the semiconductor columns in a direction transverse to a longitudinal direction (L) of the thread is at most 20% of an average diameter (D) of the thread.
Article of manufacture using an industrial or commercial manufacturing process, wherein the article of manufacture comprises an infrared (IR) phosphorescent material
This invention is a commercially manufactured article of manufacture (such as a shoulder patch) comprising an infrared (IR) phosphorescent material that emits in the IR wavelength range (e.g., from approximately seven-hundred nanometers (˜700 nm) to approximately one millimeter (˜1 mm)) after being excited by incident wavelengths of between ˜100 nm and ˜750 nm (or visible light). In other words, once the material has been exposed to visible light, the material will continue to emit in the IR wavelength range for a period of time, even when the material is no longer exposed to the visible light.
Lighted decorative article
A lighted decorative article includes an outer layer of material with a batting layer attached to the outer layer. The outer layer includes a number of light source apertures. A light source wiring harness includes a number of light sources operatively connected by electrical wire. The light sources are positioned within the light source apertures of the outer layer, and the electrical wire is secured to the batting layer. A liner is secured to the batting layer so as to cover the wire.
