Stabilized Pockets For Sports Apparel
The present disclosure relates to exercise apparel. In one embodiment, the apparel takes the form of a shirt that includes front and back panels and first and second sleeves. A pocket is formed on the outside surface of each sleeve. Each pocket further includes a zippered opening. Each sleeve includes a spandex band extending around the arm opening and adapted to securely fit over the upper arm of the wearer. Each spandex band is in close proximity to the bottom edge of an associated pocket. The bands function in stabilizing the pocket and preventing excess movement while exercising.
Athletic shorts with moisture protection features and readily accessible pockets
This disclosure relates to athletic shorts, such as those that can be worn while playing tennis, with moisture protection features and including readily accessible pockets, such as pockets that hold tennis balls in a manner that makes those balls readily accessible during a tennis match. An example pair of shorts includes a pocket accessible via an opening, and a rib biased toward a centerline of the opening and configured to direct fluid away from the opening. This disclosure also relates to a corresponding method.
Pocket square clothing accessory
Techniques are disclosed for producing a pocket square. The pocket square may include a single layer or may include multiple layers. In some embodiments, the pocket square may include a first layer having a length and width. The first layer may be attached to a second layer configured to have the same length and width as the first layer. Disposed between the first layer and the second layer there may be a third layer configured to maintain a desired shape of the pocket square. In some embodiments, the third layer comprises at least one of: a polymeric material, a non-polymeric material, a metallic mesh, a metallic foil, a woven fabric, a non-woven fabric, and/or a fabric infiltrated with a polymer.
GARMENT WITH INSULATED CONTAINER
A garment, comprising: a torso portion adapted to extend around at least a portion of a wearer's torso and having a hood, two sleeve portions and having a concealed pocket, wherein the torso portion having a first opening providing access to the pocket, and wherein the first opening has a reusable closing mechanism; and an insulated deformable container, wherein the insulated deformable container fits within the concealed pocket.
APPAREL WITH REMOVABLE INSERT
An apparel system having a removable insert therein that can selectively transport a protect layer. The removable insert may be selectively inserted within a pocket on an apparel item. The removable insert may include an activated carbon layer to help absorb and/or neutralize odorous air in the pocket or in another location on the apparel item.
Umbrella Holding Coat Device
The umbrella holding coat device is intended to provide users with coats that have an external umbrella pocket to store a wet umbrella within the coat. The device allows users to externally store their wet or damp umbrella when they arrive at home, office, school, or when entering an establishment. Further, the umbrella pocket provides users a location to store a wet or damp umbrella as well as allow it to dry without leaking or spilling water. To accomplish this, the device includes an umbrella pocket with multiple layers and functionalities. Furthermore, the device provides a central location for umbrella storage and negates the need to use umbrella canisters. Similar to other coats, the umbrella holding coat device may be stored in closets, coat racks, or similar locations after taking it off and thereby allow the umbrella pocket to protect and dry the umbrella.

INTEGRATED RETRACTABLE POCKET
Embodiments of the present invention are directed towards an integrated retractable pocket for maintaining a personal item. The integrated retractable pocket according to one embodiment comprises a first pocket affixed to a garment and a second pocket disposed of within the first pocket, the second pocket sized to accommodate the personal item. A tether is affixed to a first edge of the second pocket and the first pocket so as to attach the second pocket to the first pocket when the second pocket is removed from the first pocket.
