Fibers are attached to a hairpiece cap and the headband is attached around the circumference of the hairpiece cap. A cord and cord lock is inserted in a casing in the hairpiece cap to allow adjustment of the circumference of the wig. In a second aspect, a hair piece is designed to be attached to different types of head gear in a way that is comfortable, flexible and secure.

The present invention provides a combined head covering and removable hair piece apparatus. The apparatus includes a head covering having an interior surface, an exterior surface, and first means for fastening, the first means for fastening being secured to the interior surface of the head covering. The apparatus further includes a hair piece removably attachable to the head covering.
