The present invention relates to a spoiler for motorcycle helmet which is adjustable. The position of the spoiler of the present invention can be adjusted horizontally, vertically or in a circular motion depending upon speed and tilt of the biker as well as the air pressure.

A structural arrangement for a motorcycle helmet the protective shell of which has a recessed cavity in the upper portion forming protrusions, each protrusion having a space for the rack, and an opening; a front cavity receives a rear fairing and has a second lowered cavit with an opening between the protective hull and the internal hull, on the edges of the visors is fastened a rack with teeth actuated by a small engine with gear strategically arranged in each of the outlets of the protrusions, in the protective hull and on one end of the rack, with actuation by buttons on the helmet or devices with electronic controls by means of radio signals, installed both on the helmet and on the motorcycle or even by remote control, and power is supplied by a battery.

A helmet airflow control member includes a plate-like main body arranged on a shell and including a main body rear surface that covers part of a shell outer surface, and at least one passage formation portion arranged on the main body rear surface. A periphery of the main body rear surface includes a first peripheral portion, which is shaped in correspondence with the shell outer surface and closes a space between the main body rear surface and the shell outer surface, and a second peripheral portion, which is spaced apart from the shell outer surface and defines an opening of the space between the main body rear surface and the shell outer surface in cooperation with the shell outer surface. The passage formation portion defines a passage in the space, with the passage extending from the opening into the space and returning from the space to the opening.

A helmet may include a helmet body, a fit system, a bezel, and a hardware retainer. The helmet body may have an outer shell and an energy management layer. The bezel may be separate from the outer shell and coupled to the helmet body at the vent opening of the helmet, encircle the vent opening, and have a hardware opening extending through the bezel and an anchor opening in the bezel adjacent the hardware opening. The hardware retainer may be positioned behind and coupled to the bezel. The hardware retainer may include a hardware receiving aperture aligned with the hardware opening and a hardware retainer cover coupled to a rear side of the hardware retainer. The hardware retainer may further include an anchor recess aligned with the anchor opening. The bezel may be in-molded into the energy management layer.

An aerodynamic sporting item, such as a tennis racket, is provided. The item includes a plurality of ridges on a surface of the sporting item. The ridges are aligned with a direction of flow of air across the sporting item when used. The ridges define channels between adjacent pairs of ridges and a plurality of dimples are located in the channels defined by the ridges.

An electronic motorcycle helmet. The electronic motorcycle helmet includes a helmet having an aperture therein that can receive a head therethrough. A visor is disposed on a front side of the helmet and a display is disposed on an interior surface of the visor. A microprocessor, including a logic that receives a command input directed to one of a plurality of subsystems, toggles the subsystem between an activated state and a deactivated state, and displays a status window on the display corresponding to the subsystem. The plurality of subsystems includes a plurality of cameras disposed about the helmet, wherein each of the cameras is operably connected to the display and can apply a low-light filter for low-light conditions. Other subsystems include a wireless transmitter to wirelessly communicate with an external device, a GPS system, and a battery disposed at a lower edge of the rear side.

A safety helmet (10), including a rigid outer shell (11) and an inner part (11.1) made to absorb and deaden any impact endured by said helmet, and comprising an inner padding (14c) which provides a canalisation structure (16) for conducting air between said at least one air intake opening (12.1) and said at least one air extraction opening (13.1), characterized in that it comprises a cap (15), which, when the helmet is worn by said person, cooperates with said padding to provide a plurality of air channels at said canalizations of said padding and covers the head of the person at least at the padding itself.

A helmet that includes vents in the shell and removable plugs that may be positioned in the vents to provide an airtight seal while maintaining the aerodynamic shape of the helmet. The vent has an outer vent opening in the outer wall surface of the shell and an inner vent opening in the inner wall surface of the shell. The plug includes a resilient lower surface and an upper surface opposite the resilient lower surface. The resilient lower surface has a lower peripheral lip that compresses when the plug is pushed through the outer vent opening and the inner vent opening and that subsequently expands after the lower peripheral lip passes through the inner vent opening so that the lower peripheral lip engages a portion of the inner wall surface of the shell. The upper surface has an upper peripheral lip configured to conform to a portion of the outer wall surface of the shell when the plug is inserted in the vent.

A helmet can include a helmet body and a shield. The helmet body can include a front portion and a tail portion, and the shield can include two ear portions connected by a brow portion. The shield can be releasably coupled to the helmet body. The ears of a helmet user can be exposed with respect to the helmet body and covered with respect to the shield. The brow portion of the shield can extend across the front portion of the helmet. The tail portion of the helmet can be tapered and the front portion of the helmet can have a rounded leading edge, such that the helmet body has a tear drop form factor.

An attachment for a helmet includes an external portion, an internal portion distal from the external portion, and a shaft extending between the external portion and the internal portion. The external portion contains an object to be attached to the helmet. An attachment system including a helmet is also described.
