Individually Conforming Impact Attenuating Liner for a Helmet
An impact-attenuating liner for a helmet includes a liner body made from an impact-absorbing material and a plurality of pads removably attached to an interior surface of the liner body, each of the pads being repositionable at different locations on the interior surface of the liner body. A retention system may be attached to the liner body and configured to secure the liner to the wearer's head during use. The liner may be configured to provide substantially uniform impact protection throughout the interior region of the helmet.
Headwear with an Integrated Cooling System
A headwear with an integrated cooling system which effectively and efficiently cools a user's head and neck. The headwear includes a headwear body, a first fan assembly, a second fan assembly, and a rechargeable battery. The headwear body includes a dome, a bill, and a nape-covering portion. The bill and the nape-covering portion are positioned opposite to each other about a rim of the dome. The first fan assembly and the second fan assembly each include a motorized fan and a cover housing, wherein the motorized fan is mounted within the cover housing. The first fan assembly cools the face of the user and is integrated into the bill. The second fan assembly cools the neck of the user and is integrated into the nape-covering portion. The rechargeable battery supplies electricity to the first fan assembly and the second fan assembly. Additionally, the rechargeable battery is mounted onto the dome.
UNIVERSAL HELMET PUMPER SKIRT
There is disclosed universal pumper skirt for use with a helmet. The universal pumper skirt is composed of a coif wrapping around a wearer's neck and connected to a helmet. The coif includes an air connection input port on the coif. A wearer can use an air flow unit to pump air through the input port, creating positive air pressure in the coif and helmet that cool the wearer and reduce the intrusion of dust into the helmet. The coif may be removably attached to a motorcycle or motorsport helmet, therefore, a wearer can remove the universal pumper skirt from a helmet or transfer it to a different helmet.
WELDING HELMET HAVING A ZIPPER ARRANGEMENT AND WELDING HELMET ASSEMBLY
The present application relates to a welding helmet comprising a helmet housing and a head cover adapted to be worn on a wearer's head and made of an air-impermeable and flexible material, wherein a zipper arrangement is provided between the helmet housing and the head cover to detachably connect the head cover to the helmet housing around the whole perimeter of an opening of the helmet housing, and wherein after the head cover is connected to the helmet housing, the zipper arrangement is located within the housing of the welding helmet. The present application also relates to an assembly having the welding helmet.
Personal protection suit
A personal protection suit has a selectively sealable hood (1) for protection against CBRN threats. In one series of embodiments, the hood (1) is separable from a jacket body (5) by a releasable attachment means (11), and has a mask hood seal (2) for sealing with a mask. In one series of embodiments the hood (1A) has a deployable face mask (60) stored within the hood (1A). The hood (1) can be removed without breaking the seal between the mask and mask hood seal (2) to minimise contamination during donning and doffing.
Nape Pad for a Helmet
A nape pad for use with a helmet, the nape pad comprising: a base comprised of a rigid material and having an outer surface and an inner surface, a left side and a right side, and a top edge and a bottom edge, the outer surface being generally convex from the left side to the right side and having an upper portion proximate the top edge and a lower portion proximate the bottom edge, the upper portion being generally smooth and configured to extend into and slide along an inner surface of the helmet, the inner surface of the base being generally concave from the left side to the right side; a fastener coupled to the lower portion of the base and configured to releasably couple to a retention system of the helmet; and at least one compressible comfort pad coupled to the inner surface of the base.
ANTIVIRUS HELMET
Antivirus helmets and techniques to manufacture the antivirus helmets are provided. The antivirus helmets can protect subjects from viruses, bacteria, or other types of pathogens. The antivirus helmets can be modular and can isolate a subject wearing the antivirus helmets from the surrounding environment. The antivirus helmets can be deformable and can be worn during extended periods while protecting a subject wearing the antivirus helmet and other subjects in the environment surrounding the subject.
Guard for protecting one's neck, and related methods and systems
A guard to protect the neck of a person absorbs kinetic energy from an object that, if not for the guard, would strike the person's neck. The guard includes a body that has a material that deforms when an object strikes it, a shape configured to cover the posterior region of each of the cervical vertebrae of a person's spine when the guard is worn by a person to protect their neck, and a coupler to position and hold the body over the posterior region of each of the cervical vertebrae of a person's spine. The guard's body also includes a first region positioned above a person's first cervical vertebrae, when the guard is worn by a person to protect their neck, and a second region positioned above a person's last cervical vertebrae, when the guard is worn by a person to protect their neck.
PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR DEVICE
A protective headgear device for shielding the user from sunlight including a hat having a brim with an outer portion and an inner portion; wherein the inner portion has at least two hat magnets embedded therein and two grommets with opening along said brim; and a single piece of fabric having two side portions, a headband portion and a fabric opening in the middle which fits over the top portion and including at least two fabric magnets embedded therein; where the side portions of the fabric fit through the grommet so that the fabric magnets attach to the hat magnets to secure the fabric across the user's face, neck and shoulders.
Helmet manufacturing method and structure of helmet
A helmet manufacturing method involves: producing a shell and a protector, the shell having two opposing cheek-protecting portions, the protector having a jaw-protecting portion and a neck-protecting portion connected to the jaw-protecting portion; putting the shell and the protector in a die such that bottom edges of the cheek-protecting portions of the shell connect to a top edge of the neck-protecting portion of the protector; introducing a foam material into the die, apply heat and pressure to the foam material such that the foam material expands and binds to an inner side of the shell and an inner side of the protector; and taking a helmet finished product out of the die. Therefore, both the jaw-protecting portion of the integrally-formed protector and the helmet finished product are reinforced.
