System and method of assembling a protective sports helmet
A partial bespoke protective sports equipment to be worn by a player engaged in a sporting activity is provided. The partial bespoke sports equipment system includes methods for acquiring, storing and processing a player's unique data, namely the anatomical features of the body part against which the partial bespoke equipment is worn. The systems also includes methods of using the player's unique data to manufacture the partial bespoke protective equipment with a partially custom formed internal padding. The system and method allows for the design and manufacture of partial bespoke protective sports equipment that is purposely designed and manufactured to substantially match the anatomical specifications of the player's body part.

COMBINED GOGGLE AND FACE MASK
A combined goggle and face mask includes a goggle body, a strap, a shield, and two retaining members. Either side of the goggle body is recessed with a receiving portion. The goggle body is provided with a lens. Either end of the strap is provided with a bracket to be coupled to the receiving portion. The bracket is supported by the receiving portion. The shield is coupled to the google body. The retaining member is coupled to the bracket. Because the bracket is received in the receiving portion, the bracket can be supported by the receiving portion, so as to offset the pulling force. First edges that are oblique edges and second edges each in the form of a curved corner of the bracket are supported by two oblique sides and two bent sides each in the form of a curved corner of the receiving portion.
Apparatus for dispersing impact forces
A device for reducing impact forces upon a surface includes a base comprising a first contact portion and a transition portion, a contact member disposed between the base and the surface; and a biasing portion disposed between the first contact portion of the base and the surface. At least a first portion of an impact force upon the surface is transferred from the contact member to the base, and a second portion of the impact force is subsequently returned to the surface, the second portion being less than the first portion.

HELMET WITH FLOATING SHELL PLATES
A football helmet comprises a plastic shell having a recess formed in the shell, a shock absorbing pad in the recess and removably connected to the shell, and a floating shell plate removably attached to the shock absorbing pad and further connected to the shell by a tab-slot engagement. The helmet may further comprise an inner liner comprising a shock absorbing element, an inflatable liner element, and a mobility layer disposed between the shock absorbing element and the inflatable liner element, the mobility layer having a plurality of raised elements formed therein to separate the shock absorbing element from the mobility layer thereby forming a gap between the shock absorbing element and the mobility layer, enabling relative movement of the inflatable liner with respect to shock absorbing element.
FIELDER'S MASK WITH FLEXIBLE RETENTION SYSTEM
A fielder's mask includes a headband configured for positioning along the front and side regions of a wearer's head. A faceguard projects downwardly from a front region of the headband to protect the wearer's face from a batted or thrown ball. A rear region of the headband includes downwardly projecting, flexible arms, that secure the fielder's mask to the wearer, while also facilitating efficient, one-handed donning and removal of the fielder's mask. In some embodiments, the flexible arms engage the back of the wearer's head behind the wearer's ears. Elastic straps may be attached to the headband to further secure the fielder's mask to the wearer's head.

Helmet with gear-constraint transformable chin guard structure
A helmet with a gear-constraint type transformable chin guard structure may include a shell body, a chin guard and two branches on the chin guard, wherein a supporting base, the branch, an inner gear, an outer gear and a drive member form an associated mechanism, the inner gear and the outer gear are rotatable about fixed axes and constitute a meshing constraint pair, the inner gear and the branch are in sliding fit with each other and constitute a sliding constraint pair, and the drive member transfer the motion of the outer gear to the branch and causes the chin guard to make an extension/retraction displacement relative to the shell body, such that the chin guard makes an turnover motion while also recombining a reciprocating motion, thereby realizing a transformation between a full-helmet position and a semi-helmet position.
Helmet-based system for improved practice efficiency and athlete safety
A system is provided for use by athletes and their coaches during practice. The system includes an electronic system configured for inclusion in a helmet. The electronic system includes a transparent display screen coupled to the helmet, a processor coupled to the transparent display screen, a camera coupled to the processor and a first wireless transceiver coupled to the processor. The system also includes a handheld processing device. The handheld processing device includes a second wireless transceiver configured to communicate video content with the first wireless transceiver, an interactive display screen configured to display the first video and a video editing application configured to edit the first video to generate a second video including a simulated player technique superimposed in the first video. The second video is communicated from the handheld processing device to the electronic system for display to the athlete via the transparent display screen.
