Optical filter with stacked layers
11576456 · 2023-02-14 · ·

An optical filter includes a first layer including a first notch filter arranged to attenuate electromagnetic radiation having a first wavelength λ.sub.1 incident normally thereupon. The optical filter includes a second layer including a second notch filter arranged to attenuate electromagnetic radiation having a second wavelength λ.sub.2 incident normally thereupon. The first wavelength λ.sub.1 and the second wavelength λ.sub.2 are different. The second layer is stacked upon the first layer. In use, the first notch filter attenuates the electromagnetic radiation having a predetermined wavelength λ incident thereupon at a first angle of incidence θ.sub.1 and the second notch filter attenuates the electromagnetic radiation having the predetermined wavelength λ incident thereupon at a second angle of incidence θ.sub.2, wherein the first angle of incidence θ.sub.1 and the second angle of incidence θ.sub.2 are different.

Pilot and passenger seat

The present invention achieves technical advantages as a pilot and passenger seating. An aircraft employs a pilot seat, comprising a contoured structure having ergonomically formed and padded surfaces, with left and right arm supports that include an articulated control knob, movable in three rectangular axes and rotatable about a vertical axis to provide one or more aircraft steering functions for an aircraft, and a touch-sensitive control surface for controlling one or more power system components. A passenger seat, having a contoured structure, having ergonomically formed and padded surfaces, a headrest, a seat, a left support member, and a right support member are adapted to cradle a portion of a passenger's body to support the passenger during travel.

LOWER PROTECTIVE CAGE FOR A HELMET AND HELMET HAVING SAME

A helmet may include an upper-body comprising a first outer shell coupled to a first energy-absorbing shell formed of expanded polypropylene (EPP), expanded polystyrene (EPS), expanded polyurethane (EPU), or expanded polyolefin (EPO). A lower-body may include a second outer shell coupled to a second energy-absorbing shell formed of EPP, EPS, EPU, or EPO, wherein an upper portion of the lower-body is nested within the upper-body and a lower portion of the lower-body extends to an outer surface of a lower portion of the upper-body. A strap anchor may be disposed between the upper-body and the lower-body, and be sandwiched between the upper-body and the lower-body with the strap anchor being adjacent to, and oriented towards, the lower-body. A strap may be coupled to the fastening device and coupled to the strap anchor for coupling the helmet to a head of a user.

CUSTOMIZABLE SNAP COVER FOR OPEN FACE HELMETS
20230232930 · 2023-07-27 ·

A snap cover assembly for use with open face helmets that allows for easy mounting onto the helmet via the helmets visor or face shield snaps, e.g., a series of three male snaps protruding from the helmet's outer surface immediately above the facial or front opening. The assembly includes an inner element (or “mounting element”) configured with a mounting assembly or system for attaching the snap cover assembly to the exposed helmet snaps. The assembly further includes an outer element, which is coupled with an outer surface of the inner element in a manner, in some embodiments, that allows it to be removable to allow a user to swap it out to modify the look of their helmet. The outer element includes an outer surface (or customization surface) upon which one or more customizations (or customizing elements) may be provided by the user or others.

MOTORCYCLE HELMET

A motorcycle helmet which can drastically improve motorcycle driving technique and skill. A motorcycle helmet is provided with a helmet body configured to partially or entirely cover a head of a wearer and having an opening in front of a face surface of the wearer, and a gaze corrector provided in a center of a frame forming the opening in the helmet body to divide the opening and being an angular columnar body and enabling correction of a gaze of the wearer. The gaze corrector has mutually different colors on a facing surface facing the wearer, a right side surface located to the right of the facing surface and a left side surface located to the left of the facing surface, and the gaze corrector divides a field of view of the wearer into a right field of view and a left field of view.

Helmet with gear-constraint transformable chin guard structure

A helmet with a gear-constraint type transformable chin guard structure may include a shell body, a chin guard and two branches on the chin guard, wherein a supporting base, the branch, an inner gear, an outer gear and a drive member form an associated mechanism, the inner gear and the outer gear are rotatable about fixed axes and constitute a meshing constraint pair, the inner gear and the branch are in sliding fit with each other and constitute a sliding constraint pair, and the drive member transfer the motion of the outer gear to the branch and causes the chin guard to make an extension/retraction displacement relative to the shell body, such that the chin guard makes an turnover motion while also recombining a reciprocating motion, thereby realizing a transformation between a full-helmet position and a semi-helmet position.
