PERSONAL AIR FILTRATION APPARATUS AND METHOD
An apparatus and methods for air filtration are disclosed. The apparatus includes a body and first and second replaceable filters. The body of the apparatus further contains an air-exchange assembly and a filter receiver attached to the air exchange assembly. The air-exchange assembly contains an exhaust tube with an open end and a closed end, two wings on opposite sides of the exhaust tube, and an intake check valve and an exhaust check valve inside the exhaust tube. The first replaceable filter surrounds the filter receiver; and the second replaceable filter is inside the filter receiver. Several apertures and the check valves are strategically disposed in the exhaust tube to achieve optimal air filtration and avoid contamination of a user's exhaust.
PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR RESPIRATION, PROTECTIVE SYSTEM FOR RESPIRATION, AND MANAGEMENT METHOD
A protective system for respiration, and a management method facilitates stably supplying filtered air for safety such that the equipment management or the safety management can be performed remotely. The protective equipment includes a main body that covers the face of an operator, a fan unit including an air filter and an electric fan, a detecting section, a first control section, and a first communication section. The detecting section detects a physical quantity concerning at least one of a work environment of the operator, an action state of the operator, and an operation state of the electric fan. The first control section controls the electric fan based on a detection result of the detecting section. The first communication section transmits first information indicating a detection result of the detecting section or second information concerning an operation amount on a control target of the first control section to an external device.
HELMET HAVING A BREATHING MASK ASSEMBLY
A helmet has a helmet shell, and a breathing mask assembly connected to the helmet shell. The breathing mask assembly has: a breathing mask; a flexible connector connecting the breathing mask to the helmet shell; and an actuator mounted to the breathing mask and operatively connected to the flexible connector. The actuator and the flexible connector are configured such that moving the actuator from a first position to a second position shortens a length of the flexible connector extending between the actuator and the helmet shell thereby moving the breathing mask closer to a rear of the helmet shell, the actuator moving with the breathing mask closer to the rear of the helmet shell.
AIR-FED VISOR
An air-fed visor comprises a mask, at least part of which comprises a foam material. An air tube is provided for delivering air to the visor. An air distribution rose is disposed in the foam mask. The rose comprises an air inlet connected to the air tube and an air distribution chamber for distributing air from the air inlet into the foam material.
Protective headgear with adjustable air supply
A protective headgear (1) comprising: a protective helmet (20) that defines an interior space (31), that comprises an inward major surface, and that comprises a forward window with a windowpane (27); a head suspension that is connected to the helmet; and an air supply module (50) mounted at least partially within the interior space defined by the helmet, wherein the air supply module comprises central, right lateral, and left lateral trunks (53, 54, 55) that are configured so that when the module is mounted within the interior space defined by the helmet, selected central, left and right areas of the inward major surface of the helmet combine with the central, left lateral and right lateral trunks of the air supply module to respectively define a central air supply passage and left and right lateral air supply passages for delivering air to a wearer of the protective headgear, and, wherein the air supply module comprises an external, remote handle (70) that is remotely connected to an air valve that is operative to control a rate at which air is directed into the central air supply passage in comparison to a rate at which air is directed into the left and right lateral air supply passages.
PROTECTIVE HELMET WITH COUPLING ELEMENTS
The invention relates to a protective helmet (2), in particular a firefighting helmet, having a helmet shell (4) and coupling arrangements (6) which are arranged on either side in a temple region (5) in each case and have first coupling elements (7) for coupling in a releasable manner in each case to an accessory (3). The first coupling elements (7) are retained on the helmet shell (4) via retaining means (9) of a connecting device (20) in a plurality of different positions one behind the other along a longitudinal axis (10) of an adjustment path. Each of the first coupling elements (7) has arranged thereon a first coupling member (11) which is arranged in a first laterally offset position in relation to the retaining means (9), which is arranged along the longitudinal axis (10) of the adjustment path. The invention also relates to safety equipment (1) comprising such a protective helmet (2) and at least one accessory (3) coupled thereto.
ANTIVIRUS HELMET
Antivirus helmets and techniques to manufacture the antivirus helmets are provided. The antivirus helmets can protect subjects from viruses, bacteria, or other types of pathogens. The antivirus helmets can be modular and can isolate a subject wearing the antivirus helmets from the surrounding environment. The antivirus helmets can be deformable and can be worn during extended periods while protecting a subject wearing the antivirus helmet and other subjects in the environment surrounding the subject.
FILTERED PROTECTIVE MASK FOR A HELMET
A protective face mask has a face shield arranged to fully span a face area of the user while being secured relative to a protective helmet worn by the user. The face mask has a central viewing portion formed of a transparent material that is rigid so as to resist deformation when impacted. One or more breathing openings are formed in the face shield so as to be arranged to receive breathing air when inhaling and/or exhaling. A control structure is supported on the face shield in operative association with each breathing opening in non-interference with the central viewing portion of the face shield in which the control structure is one of (i) a filter member spanning across the breathing opening, or (ii) a valve member operable between open and closed positions so as to only allow flow through the breathing opening in one direction.
Safety Headwear with Electronic Monitoring
Various embodiments of safety headwear are provided. The safety headwear includes one or more of a hard hat, such as a safety helmet, and a respirator. The safety headwear monitors one or more conditions, such as biometric and/or atmospheric conditions. The safety headwear analyzes the results of the monitoring to determine whether to generate an alarm to the wearer of the safety headwear.
PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR WITH ADJUSTABLE AIR SUPPLY
Protective headgear including central, left lateral, and right lateral trunks, and which may include at least one external, remote handle for directing air flow.
