DEVICE FOR CONNECTING THE LOWER LEG OF A SKIER TO A SKI BINDING, AND FOOTWEAR ASSEMBLY INCORPORATING SAID DEVICE
Device for connecting the lower leg J of a skier S, with a foot P and an ankle axis CC′, to a ski binding F mounted on a ski board PS, comprising a footwear assembly (30), a tibial connection (16) with at least one rigid rod (16-3), said at least one rigid rod comprising an upper end (16-1) comprising means (18) of attachment to the lower leg J, including securing means (24) and a lower end (16-2) comprising a pivot connection (20) pivoting about an axis AA′ with respect to said footwear assembly (30), characterized in that it comprises means (22) of articulation having at least one degree of freedom, these means being interposed between the upper end (16-1) of said at least one rigid rod (16-3) and the means (18) of attachment to the lower leg J. The invention also covers the footwear assembly equipped with this device.
Sports boot
Sports boot having a lower portion to surround a user's foot, an upper portion to surround the user's lower leg and movable in relation to the lower portion, and mechanisms blocking the lower portion in relation to the upper portion. The upper portion includes disjointed lateral and medial portions, each rotationally articulated with the lower portion. The blocking mechanisms include an element movable in relation to the lower portion between a blocking position, in which the blocking mechanisms at least partially lock upper portion movement in relation to the lower portion, and an unblocking position in which the blocking mechanisms allow upper portion free movement in relation to the lower portion. When the blocking element is in the unblocking position, the blocking mechanisms allow translational movement of the lateral portion in relation to the medial portion at least along a direction perpendicular to an outsole of the boot.
Tuning elements for footwear
One or more tuning elements may be associated with a receiver, such as a pocket or other channel, disposed on an item of footwear, such as a snowboarding boot. The receiver adjustably receives the tuning element. The adjustable arrangement of the tuning element and receiver allows the intended user of the item of footwear to tune the item for performance, comfort, cosmetic, or other characteristics. In certain embodiments, the tuning elements are removably associated with a boot to allow for flex control.
SKI BOOT WITH REAR LEVER PART
A ski boot comprising a sole designed to accommodate a boot of a skier and a connecting device having a fastening member to be fastened to the leg of the skier, which ski boot has: a lever part that is fastened to the sole via a pivot connection, the fastening member being movable relative to the lever part, a connecting rod that is connected at a first point to one of the sole and the lever part via a first pivot connection and at a second point to the other of the sole and the lever part via a second connection enabling the second point to be moved, and a deformable member that is arranged to prevent the second point from moving relative to a rest position.
Device for connecting the lower leg of a skier to a ski binding, and footwear assembly incorporating said device
Device for connecting the lower leg of a skier, with a foot and an ankle axis, to a ski binding mounted on a ski board, comprising a footwear assembly, a tibial connection with at least one rigid rod, where the at least one rigid rod comprises an upper end securely attached to the lower leg, and a lower end which is pivoting with respect to the footwear assembly.
