Closure Device That is Secured When Loaded
Provided is a closure device including a first closure part that includes a locking element, a force transmission element operatively connected to the locking element, which can be loaded along a force direction, and an actuating element movable relative to the locking element, and a second closure part that includes an engagement element. The locking element and the engagement element can be attached to each other for connecting the first closure part and the second closure part to each other and are connected to each other in a closed position. In the closed position, when the force transmission element is loaded along the force direction, the locking element is loaded in a locking direction towards contact with the engagement element by the action of force of the force transmission element. The actuating element can be actuated in order to adjust the locking element against the locking direction.
Articulated harness connection arrangement with integrated attachment element
A connection arrangement for use with a wearable body harness includes a first connector having a first body component, a second body component, and an attachment element connected to each other by a rod having a longitudinal axis. The connection arrangement further includes a second connector removably connectable to the first connector. Each of the first body component, the second body component, and the attachment element are independently movable relative to each other about the longitudinal axis of the rod. The first connector and the second connector are removably connectable to each other via a locking and release mechanism between a first, locked configuration, where the first connector and the second connector are connected to each other, and a second, unlocked configuration, where the first connector and the second connector are disconnected from each other.
MAGNETIC SHOULDER HARNESS BUCKLE FOR A CHILD RESTRAINT
A buckle for a child safety seat harness having a base part and a latch part, the latch part having a releasable latching mechanism that includes a plurality of magnetic elements arranged to urge the base and latch parts into engagement during a connection operation and to urge the base and latch parts apart during a disconnection operation that also releases the latch.
QUICK RELEASE BUCKLE AND HARNESS COMPRISING THE SAME
A quick release buckle includes a housing defining a first opening therethrough and includes an engaging surface disposed adjacent to the first opening. A webbing is received through the first opening of the housing. A first pawl and a second pawl are pivotally mounted to the housing. A catch is at least partially received between the first pawl and the second pawl. A first pawl biasing member and a second pawl biasing member are engaged with the first pawl and the second pawl, respectively, and are configured to bias the first pawl and the second pawl into engagement with the catch. A bar is slidably received within the housing and extends across the first opening. A first bar biasing member and a second bar biasing member are configured to bias the bar toward the engaging surface, such that the webbing is gripped between the bar and the engaging surface.
LIGHT-EMITTING SAFE BUCKLE
A light-emitting safe buckle is disclosed. The buckle includes, a light-emitting device, and a male buckle and a female buckle made of a transparent or translucent material, the light-emitting device being disposed on an intermediate setting portion of the male buckle. The male buckle and the female buckle are both made of a transparent or translucent material, such that light emitted by the light-emitting device can be quickly conducted and diffused to the whole structure.
LOCKING MECHANISM WITH MULTIPLE STAGE LOCKING VERIFICATION
A system and method for a locking mechanism that includes an ability to indicate proper engagement via a signal cable coupled through a harness. The locking mechanism may include electronic components including three magnetic actuators and corresponding electronic switches that signal change of state. Locking tabs and a leading edge of the insert respectively include the three magnetic actuators. The electronic switches, which may be magnetically activated reed switches, signal status change to an external controller and, optionally, an external computer. Further, status signals and power signals may be routed through a steel cable or woven nylon harness that coupled the locking mechanism to a local anchor point. Change of status notification may be important on critical safety worksites where lack of mechanical and electronic connection can be life threatening.
Buckle assembly
A buckle assembly includes a first buckle component, a second buckle component and an operating component. The first buckle component includes a locked portion. The second buckle component includes a locking portion. The locking portion engages with the locked portion along a lateral direction of the buckle assembly when the second buckle component is mated with the first buckle component along a mating direction. The operating component is partially embedded in and partially exposed out of the second buckle component. The operating component is slidable relative to the second buckle component. The operating component drives the locking portion to move away from the locked portion for disengaging the locking portion from the locked portion during a sliding movement of the operating component relative to the second buckle component. The present invention has advantage of saving labor and easy operation.
SAFETY HARNESS WITH PSEUDO-CROSSOVER VENTRAL STRAPS
A fall-protection safety harness with first and second ventral straps and with a ventral buckle that is at least generally aligned with a sagittal plane of the user, wherein the ventral buckle comprises first and second buckle portions mounted on the first and second ventral straps, respectively.
Tool belt
A tool belt (1) comprises a belt strap (2) and a belt buckle (3), wherein the belt buckle (3) comprises a male (5) and a female part (7). The male part (5) comprises a latch plate (27) and the female part (7) comprises a female interface (9) for receiving the latch plate (27). The latch plate (27) is attached to a first end (2a) of the belt strap (2) and the female part (7) is attached to a second end (2b) of the belt strap (2), and the female part (7) comprises a locking mechanism (15) adapted for connection and disconnection of the latch plate (27) to or from the female interface (9), and a length adjustment mechanism (17) adapted for adjustment of the length of the belt strap (2).
Safety Harness with Quasi-Crossover Ventral Straps
A fall-protection safety harness with first and second ventral straps and with a ventral buckle that is at least generally aligned with a sagittal plane of the user. At the sagittal buckle, a section of the first ventral strap is in overlapping relation with a section of the second ventral strap.
