Locking buckle assembly
11564458 · 2023-01-31 · ·

A locking buckle assembly for coupling and decoupling a web strap includes a strap plate and a base part. The base part includes a front plate and a rear cover. A locking mechanism including a release button and a locking peg is positioned between the front plate and the rear cover. The release button and the locking peg are biased by a spring through respective openings in the front plate. A lock plate is provided on a surface of the front plate. Respective longitudinal axes of the lock plate and the front plate are angularly offset from each other. The strap plate includes an opening sized to receive the lock plate and couples to the base part when the lock plate captures the strap plate and the longitudinal axes of the strap plate and the base part are aligned. In that orientation, the locking peg couples to the strap plate and the strap plate and the base part are only decoupled by pressing of the release button in opposition to the urging of the spring.

Buckle

Disclosed herein is a buckle including a plug member and a socket member. The plug member includes a shaft part protruding from one side of a first body, a first magnet inserted into the shaft part, a connection recess formed on the outer face of the shaft part, and at least one guide protrusion formed on the inner wall of the connection recess. The socket member includes a connection protrusion formed on one side of a second body to be inserted into the connection recess, a coupling recess formed in the middle of the connection protrusion so that the shaft part is inserted into the coupling recess, a second magnet inserted into the coupling recess, and at least one guide groove formed in the outer surface of the connection protrusion to guide the guide protrusion.

Quick connect anchoring buckle

Systems relating to a mechanical closure or locking device configured to allow for quick connect and disconnect. The systems can be used in conjunction with compression garments. The systems can include a buckle that couples to an anchor. The buckle and anchor can include complementary features that can mechanically interface to secure the buckle and anchor together. The buckle and anchor can include complementary magnetic elements to secure the buckle and anchor together. The buckle can be manipulated to tighten or loosen an adjustable strap.

Magneto-Mechanical Closure Device for Fastening to an Associated Assembly
20230033255 · 2023-02-02 ·

A closure device for connecting two assemblies to each other includes a first closure part, which is associated to a first one of the assemblies and includes a first magnetic element, and a second closure part which includes a second magnetic element. The first closure part and the second closure part can be attached to each other along a closing direction by magnetic attraction between the first magnetic element and the second magnetic element, are mechanically and/or magnetically held at each other in a closed position, and can be separated from each other for opening the closure device. A connecting part includes a fastening device for fastening the second closure part to the connecting part and an integration portion for fixing the connecting part to a second one of the assemblies.

Magnetic connector for selectively joining a leash to an animal collar
11470923 · 2022-10-18 ·

A magnetic connector providing a unique magnetic coupling system for quick, one-handed attachment and detachment of a leash to a pet collar or harness is disclosed. The magnetic connector has a cap with an outer armature for leash attachment and an inner female receptacle element for receiving a male insertion element previously attached to a collar. The male insertion element is in the shape of a star polygon having multiple attached magnets. The female receptacle element has a complementary aperture shape for insertion of the star polygon. The cap includes multiple attached magnets of opposite polarity to the star polygon's attached magnets. Upon insertion of the cap onto the star polygon, the cap undergoes rotation caused by the attractive magnetic forces between the star polygon's and the cap's magnets, locking the cap in place until the cap is manually rotated in the opposite direction and lifted off the star polygon.

Buckle Assembly

A buckle assembly includes a first frame member defining a first slot, which includes a first open end positioned at a first side of the first frame member and which includes a first closed end positioned spaced apart from a second side of the first frame member. The buckle assembly further includes a second frame member defining a second slot, which includes a second open end positioned at a second side of the second frame member and a second closed end positioned spaced apart from a first side of the second frame member, wherein the second frame member is positioned in overlying relationship to the first frame member. The buckle assembly further includes a third frame member is configured to position within a recess defined within the second frame member.

Closure Device Having Closure Parts Which are Able to be Placed Against One Another
20220312904 · 2022-10-06 ·

A closure device includes a first closure part which has a body, and a second closure part. A locking element and an engagement portion in a closing position are mutually engaged in such a manner that the first closure part and the second closure part arc locked to one another. The first closure part has a first magnetic installation, and the second closure part has a second magnetic installation, said first magnetic installation and said second magnetic installation when placing the first closure part and the second closure part against one another interact in a magnetically attractive manner. The at least one locking element is magnetically configured in such a manner that the at least one locking element in the closing position by way of the first magnetic installation and/or the second magnetic installation is loaded in the direction of engaging with the at least one engagement portion.

Closure device with closure parts which can be placed against each other

A closure device includes a first closure part which includes a base body and at least one closure element rotatably arranged on the base body about an axis of rotation. The at least one closure element includes a base body and at least one first locking portion arranged on the base body, and at least one second closure part which includes a base element and at least one second locking portion arranged on the base element. The first closure part and the at least one second closure part can be placed against each other along a placement direction.

Thin garment closure

A thin garment closure includes a male member with a bar having a ball on at least one end and a female member having a trough shaped complementary to the bar. The bar is positionable in the trough when the male and female members in a substantially transverse orientation, and when one member is rotated so that both members are substantially coplanar the closure is closed. The male and female members each have a flat surface which contacts the flat surface of the mating member when the closure is closed, enabling a thin and narrow closure. In an embodiment, the trough has sidewalls which guide the bar into position in the trough for improved manipulation of the closure. In another embodiment, a detent resists decoupling of the closure while allowing coupling over a range of insertion angles.
