Buckle locket
A buckle locket. The invention is configured to be worn with a strap configured with snap-button hardware that wraps around and attaches to the D-ring located on the back of the buckle locket case. The buckle locket is held onto the wearer by means of a belt strap consisting of holes or material made of mesh to allow for the tongue of the buckle locket to latch onto the strap or material. The invention includes a case and a frame. The case and the frame can be interchanged within their respective size buckle locket model parts. The invention includes a design holster that is capable of carrying various design materials of strength or vulnerability. The design holster is interchangeable. The design holster is ferrous and is magnetically held in place inside the case of the buckle locket. The frame containing the industrial-strengthened window of the buckle locket magnetically attaches to the case. The windowed frame protects the interchangeable design holster insert and the wearer. The invention is worn conventionally and as a mobile display or showcase.

The base comprises a cavity, at least one base locking element a recess comprising a recess void and an illumination assembly in the cavity wherein the illumination assembly comprises an illuminator capable of emitting light. The back plate is reversibly mountable on the base. The back plate comprises at least one back plate locking element. The back plate locking element is reversibly engageable with the base plate locking element. A tab is provided on the back plate which is receivable by the recess. The tab comprises a tab void which is alignable with the recess void. An illumination window in the back plate allows light to transmit through said illumination window. The back plate also comprises at least one securing recess. The bezel is reversibly mountable on the back plate. The bezel comprises a viewing window and a securing tab wherein the securing tab is received by the securing recess. A locking element extends through the aligned tab void and recess void.

A jewelry piece having a body or housing that defines a cavity sized and shaped to removably receive an interchangeable ornament, a cover or back connected to the body, such that the jewelry piece may be opened or closed, and a locking mechanism to secure the ornament in the jewelry piece. The body and cover mechanically engage when the jewelry piece is closed to secure the ornament without the need for excessive force or an additional tool. The mechanical engagement is accomplished by interlocking mating elements and a spring-loaded lever.

The inventive concept relates to jewelry (200; 300) for holding an interchangeable ornament (210; 310), comprising a jewelry body (202; 302); a setting base (204; 304) arranged above and attached to the jewelry body (202; 302), the setting base (204; 304) having an upper and a lower surface; and a plurality of ornament holders (208; 308) arranged along a circumference of the setting base (204; 304) and extending in a vertical direction from the setting base (204; 304), at least one of which is a moveable ornament holder (208; 308). The at least one moveable ornament holder (208; 308) is configured to be moved between a first position in which the interchangeable ornament (210; 310) is restricted from moving, and a second position wherein the interchangeable ornament (210; 310) is moveable.

An interchangeable jewelry system or kit can include a jewelry base, one or more charms, and one or more keys. A manufacturer can configure the jewelry base so that a user can wear the jewelry system as a ring, necklace, bracelet, or any other type of jewelry. The jewelry base can include a recessed surround and a post recess. A manufacturer can size the charm to fit within the recessed surround and be configured in a variety of ways to lock into the recessed surround. A manufacturer can configure a key in a variety of ways so that a user can unlock the dot fitting from the recessed surround with the key. Once unlocked, the owner can remove the charm from the recessed surround of the jewelry base and can select an alternative dot fitting with a different design to lock into the recessed surround.
