Jewelry clasp
A clasp for connecting one or more jewelry items together has a male body and a female body. The male body engages with the female body by placing an insert of the male body into an insert-receiving volume of the female body. The insert-receiving volume is defined by a shell, the shell being formed by a first surface and a second surface which are joined by a lateral surface. The insert has a planar body and a spring arm which is hingedly connected to the planar body. A lip of the shell normally prevents the insert from being moved into or out of the shell, but the free end can be pressed down by a connected tab, such that the free end does not encounter the lip. The spring arm returns to a default equilibrium position when external force is not applied via the tab.
CLASPS FOR JOINING JEWELRY ELEMENTS TOGETHER IN A STRING
Various jewelry pieces may be assembled by selectively coupling together jewelry elements of varying ornamental design using clasps that are easily manipulated without the need for tools and which are generally hidden from view when the jewelry piece is worn.
Coupler
The coupler includes a male coupler formed with an annular groove, and a female coupler into which the male coupler is detachably inserted. The female coupler includes a first body part downwardly open, a second body part upwardly open, being rotatably connected with the first body part, and defining a hollow space together with the first body part, and a guide housed in the space, and supporting the male coupler inserted into the female coupler. The guide is composed of a material having elasticity, and exerts an elastic force on the first body part and the second body part such that they are closed to each other.
Permanent Jewelry Clasp Device
A permanent jewelry clasp device is provided. The device is comprised of a jewelry clasp designed to provide a secure, aesthetic fastening for jewelry items such as bracelets, necklaces, and anklets. The clasp comprises two interlocking halves forming a clasp body. The first half features a compressible V-shaped fastener that contracts during insertion into an opening in the second half and expands within the interior space to lock securely against an internal fastener, preventing disengagement. To assist with alignment, the second half may include a tapered opening. Each half includes a loop fastener for attaching to a jewelry chain. A method of use involves inserting and locking the fastener within the clasp body, followed by securing the jewelry chain to complete the assembly.
