A contour detection apparatus includes at least one processor. The processor detects a first nail contour defining a nail region from a finger image of a finger including a nail by performing fitting with a nail contour model. Further, the processor obtains a second nail contour input from a user against the first nail contour that the user does not approve. Further, the processor classifies the first nail contour as a group based on dimensional information on dimensions of the first nail contour, and derives difference information indicating a difference between the first nail contour and the second nail contour.

A cosmetic activator system for activating a cosmetic is provided including: an activator having an energy source configured to emit an energy pulse and a controller; and an imprinter having an imprint pattern and at least one activation element configured to be in communication with the energy source, wherein the imprinter is configured to create an imprint on the cosmetic.

Provided is a drawing apparatus including a drawing mechanism configured to perform a drawing on a nail of an object being a finger or a toe, and a processor.

The processor acquires a first captured image of the nail and a second captured image of the nail, the first and the second captured image being images captured from a first direction by an imaging device located at a position along the first direction from a first location of a surface of the nail, the first captured image being an image captured by the imaging device at a position where a distance along the first direction between the imaging device and the first location of the surface of the nail is a first distance, and the second captured image being an image captured by the imaging device at a position where a distance along the first direction between the imaging device and the first location of the surface of the nail is a second distance different from the first distance. Moreover, the processor acquires a value of a width of the nail on the basis of the first captured image and the second captured image.

A printer includes a printing head, a nail information detection unit, an outline comparison determination unit, and a display unit. The printing head prints on a print target. The nail information detection unit detects a base outline that is a base outline in an area including the print target and a non-print target adjacent to the print target. The outline comparison determination unit compares a print outline that is an outline of an area to be printed on the print target with the base outline, and determines whether or not there is a difference equal to or larger than a set value. The display unit reports, as a reporting unit, to a user that the difference determined by the outline comparison determination unit is equal to or larger than the set value.

A device for applying or removing nail polish or nail art has a replaceable cartridge with a distal end removably coupleable to a proximal end of a handle. The cartridge has a reservoir that contains a liquid, such as nail polish or nail polish remover and a flow control member (e.g., valve) actuatable to allow flow of the liquid out of the distal end of the cartridge. The handle has a flow path therethrough that extends between its proximal end to an applicator implement (e.g., brush, sponge) attached to its distal end, the flow path in fluid communication with the flow control member when the cartridge is coupled to the handle. Selective actuation of the flow control member by the user (e.g., by squeezing the cartridge) allows fluid to flow out the reservoir and through the flow path in the handle to the applicator implement for application of the fluid by the user to a finger or toe nail.

A printing apparatus that performs printing on a nail to which a base is applied determines an order of applying a base to the nails of a plurality of fingers by a practitioner based on practitioner information about the practitioner who applies the base to the nail, sets, based on the base application order for the nails, the print order for the nails of the plurality of fingers, and performs, based on this print order, printing on the nails of the plurality of fingers, to which the base was applied.

The processor detects a nail region based on an image obtained by photographing a finger or a toe, sets at least a part of the detected nail region as a preceding print setting region, detects a region on which the preceding print is printed as a succeeding print region based on an image obtained by photographing the finger or the toe on which the preceding print is printed, sets a succeeding print region reference point corresponding to the succeeding print region, or sets a preceding print setting region reference point corresponding to the preceding print setting region and the succeeding print region reference point, and causes the print head to print a succeeding print on the nail region based on information on the preceding print setting region and a reference point that is set.

A drawing device includes a drawing head and a processor which controls the drawing head. The drawing head draws an image by forming at least one of a first droplet dot formed by a first droplet and a second droplet dot formed by a second droplet including a larger droplet amount than the first droplet on a drawing target surface curved convexly along a first direction. The processor controls the drawing head to form the second droplet dot in at least a part of an adjustment region in at least one end of ends in the first direction on the drawing target surface based on drawing data of the image, and the drawing data is image data for drawing the image on a non-curved surface.

A printing device including: a print head that performs printing on a printing target; a mount on which the printing target is placed; and a lift that positions a nail of a finger placed on the mount at a proper position appropriate for the printing by lifting the mount, and positions a printing medium other than the nail of the finger placed on the mount at a proper position appropriate for the printing by lifting the mount, wherein the mount includes a nail mount on which the finger or the nail is placed when the printing target is the nail of the finger and a medium mount on which the printing medium is placed when the printing target is the printing medium, and at least one of the nail mount and the medium mount is able to be attached and detached selectively according to the printing target.
